This works with my MX. Great quality, and so far no issues with the adapter. Got here quick. Very good packaging in box. It was raining when it got delivered, and I was worried it may ruin the adapter, but the box they packaged it in seems to be waterproof and sealed.

This adapter works just fine. It’s heavier than I thought it would be. I guess that’s a good thing hopefully meaning there are stable sturdy materials inside. The only negation it the locking latch on the CCS side that locks to your car is plastic and could easily break if you dropped the unit. Other than that I love being able to use the Tesla network. I typically use public chargers at night and some Tesla chargers I can charge at 18 cents a kWh after 11 pm. ... show more

Would have been nice to have in Grand Canyon National Park lodges where they have many J1772 chargers in the parking lots. Very convenient if you have the adapter. This is exactly the same thing as the adapter that came with my car. My car will be 3 years old and I mainly charge at work, the adapter is not locking and makes it impossible to charge with anything but the direct Tesla charger. I bought this on a hope and a prayer. Bad! Its charging efficiency is extremely low. The same amount of electricity can be fully charged in about an hour with the original charger, but it takes two or three hours with this adapter. This not only wastes my time, but also increases my charging costs. And its stability is also very poor. There are often current fluctuations during charging, which has a great impact on the battery and circuit system of the vehicle. I am worried that long-term use will damage my Tesla. ... show more
