    • Maybe not the best, but way less expensive than OEM. 2008 Tacoma install.

This is the second time I have replaced the headlights in my '08 Tacoma. The originals started "fogging" after about 6 years. In 2014 I installed some Chinese knockoffs like these, but it was time again. Overall quality was not up to the TYC brand that I got before, but they fit and they look right. The seal around the lens looked a little questionable, so I ran a bead of RTV around the edges . PRO TIP #1 - wear gloves when you do this. RTV is a PITA to get off your hands when it dries. Trust me on this. PRO TIP #2 - Install the headlight bulbs BEFORE installing the headlight, especially on the driver's side. Playing with that diabolical retaining clip when your hand is jammed up against the battery is not fun. You will teach your kids some new words. You owe me a beer for that little tidbit. If you have little raccoon hands, go ahead and disregard. The passenger side was a breeze. Once installed and tested, I didn't notice any other issues. Reflectors seemed to work as they should and aim was close enough out of the box. Again, maybe not the best of quality, but certainly acceptable for the price. ... show more

Condensation inside on the second day after being installed with increasing amounts as time goes on. I received them in January and didn’t install until the weather warmed in May or June. A pain to install involving prying back the inner fenderwell. Have about 10 new body clips on hand. I’m very disappointed. ... show more

work as listed on my 2011 toyota tacoma. install is pretty darn easy except for the one screw that points towards the wheel well had to go thru in thru the wheel well to remove old and place in the new. this is not a reflection of product more of design. but really not too bad. took my time with it and it took about 30min to an hour and im not mechanically inclined. I would say 15 to 30 min you could have both changed out. really works well and so much more light than the older headlights i had. i bought the product because an owl smoked the drivers side headlight and i got the pair because it is worth it money wise and symmetry wise to get the pair. ... show more

The projection is clean and is level. *DISCLAIMER* Due to the 50/50 reviews of leakage, I purchased a tube of silicone prior to installation and went along the edges of the lens and housing.* After having the lens on for a couple months, there is no sign of aging on the lens. After countless car washes, 2 major storms with some water crossings, there is no sign of moisture inside the housing. For the price, you can’t beat passing on this product. To be safe, I recommend purchasing some silicone as well. It’s a quick 10-15 job to line the edges. ... show more

I don’t know why everyone gives good reviews. I regret this purchase. Adjusters are poor quality.!So why would they sell it this way. To see the road I’d have to have high beams on . Clips are not as good OEM . I truly regret this purchase. Don’t be sold on the Looks. If it doesn’t work. Why buy it!!!! I finally found the adjusters are in a different location. This was insight from another reviewer. Nothing was written about this and all other reviews showed adjusters different location. There working fine now but Clips are very poor quality. Bulbs are barely adequately holding in with these clips. Lights now work and look good but I would not purchase again I’d look for another headlamp ... show more
