I like these. I have just received these (about a month ago) so this is an early review. They fit a five pound bag of flour with enough room to add the bottom of the other empty container (two cups or so) to it. I make bread so they get used quite a bit. So far they are well worth the money. Not the prettiest since I have been spoiled with the Rubbermaid Brilliance containers but they certainly work good enough and I'm not banging up my other containers. They aren't ugly, just different and I don't mind because they have been airtight and easy to use. I got four containers and have used just two so far, testing them out. Right now I feel confident enough to go ahead and get cornmeal and self rising flour to fill the other two. With prices so crazy high right now can't afford (don't want to afford) buying store bought bakery and since I enjoy baking anyway it's a win win for me personally. Seems like the quality of many things has been sacrificed for larger profits and if it doesn't taste good anymore it doesn't get bought anymore!!!!! These containers were a decent price and I have to say I appreciate that it doesn't cost a fortune to make it yourself right now. Besides the benefits of homemade are far greater. One note about the containers, just be gentle with the lids, they fit very well but because they are air tight they are snug and need to be set in the grove to work right. I spent a lot of time comparing container sets. I mainly wanted some to store flour and sugar. I keep several types of flour on hand and this set really fit the bill. They fit perfectly into my cabinets, and the price was reasonable. The lids snap on very securely. Definitely will keep out any interested insects. These will fit a 5lb bag of flour just right. I don't dump out the flour, myself but you could. I like to just leave it in the bag and it fits great. If these seem like the size and shape you want, get them. ... show more

Like so many, I started making bread during the pandemic. I'm now buying bread flour in 25 lb sacks and needed to find a way to keep it safe from bugs. I searched high and low for something that would work. It was extra confusing because all the containers listed their sizes in cups or liters or lb's for rice and since flour is so different, I had to do some math. As you can see from the pics, each container easily holds 8 lb's, 3 & 3/4 ounces. So I was able to get a 25 lb bag of bread flour into 3 containers! They seem like good quality. I did not do a liquid leek test before I filled them. So, I'd be very interested to hear if anyone has. I'll do a follow up if I have any problems, But I'd recommend them! ... show more

Works as well as the more expensive brands, if fact, if they did not have different locking snaps for the top, I could not tell the difference. I have purchased over 10 difference containers from several different company's for my pantry and these are the same quality but at a much better price. I use them for cereal, crackers, pasta, tea bags, taco shells, flour, corn meal, pop tarts, cookies, chips, Epson salt, and my list could go on. I was tired of food going stale because my family would not close the bags well. Now... all they have to do is lesson for the snapping sound from the top. Most of the shelves in my pantry are 10 inches apart so I need food storage containers that can fit on these shelves. I am pleased with the price. I don't care for the design of the lids. When they arrived they were difficult to separate (even though they had pieces of thin plastic to divide them). I used a hair dryer to warm the air trapped between them.
