Although it says manufactured for Starbucks on the container, the content does NOT taste like it. The consistency and appearance is spot on and I’m sure this company does manufacture the same caramel sauce Starbucks buys, but this one tasted literally terrible. I threw out the whole container it was putrid. I read one review where someone said they bought this 8 times and the those times it was delicious and then the 9th time it was heinous. Well, I took a gamble (being a Starbucks caramel sauce fiend) and lost $40. This tasted like spoiled plastic if I’m being honest. The taste was muddied by this horrific aftertaste and all I can imagine is the product was not stored properly or the plastic jug it came in caused the flavor to alter. Not sure but if you’re looking for the authentic Starbucks caramel sauce flavor, go to Starbucks. Ghirardelli is a close second for home use too. ... show more

I received the product but when I opened the box the packaging around it was ripped open and the pump is missing. Of course there’s aren’t any return or replacement orders allowed.

I was taking a risk ordering this it being so large ( it's just me and my daughter). We used it up rather quickly. We enjoy it in our Hawaiian coffee (that is how I had my first coffee ever in this summer on vacation in Hawaii) the pump came apart in the sauce so you get one chance to make certain that it's together tight before you take the plunge! I noticed the sell by date was exceeded so that was a little off putting so I stored this in the refrigerator and it's lasted 2 months. I'm waiting on another so it's safe to say I am in favor of this product. With the fall season it's amazing in hot apple cider. I've saved a lot of money by using this product with my keurig at home. This sauce is delicious, when at Starbees I always get extra caramel , the expiration date is in December so I'm happy about that too. If you buy it you won't regret it.
