  • Almost perfect
Color: Purple
This walker has been a game changer for my mom. Just a few tweaks and it would be perfect. Pros: It was simple to put together and she loves the snazzy purple color. The all terrain, rubber tires make it easy for her to get around and maneuver over difficult terrain without getting stuck and the traction is great. The seat is spacious, comfortable and has plenty of storage space. The brakes are extremely good and lock tight. It folds up easily and when the brakes are set, it doesn’t open up easily while lifting into the car. Solidly built and snaps together rather than having to screw together with knobs that easily loosen. Cane holder is a nice plus. Cons: The backrest is a little too high and wide for a smaller persons comfort. The cup holder is inconveniently placed for getting through doorways and detaches too easily, as does the cane holder. A little bulky and heavy, the walker barely clears an average size doorway and is a little bigger than necessary for a smaller individual. All in all we are very happy with this purchase, just a few little details that would make it better but not a deal breaker in the least. ... show more

  • So far, I am thrilled!
Color: Green
I’ve only had this walker for about an hour. So far, I am very happy! I’ve used a walker for several years now. I had a Medline bariatric one originally. In fact, I’ve had two of them. I needed the wider seat even though I was nearly 200 pounds under the weight capacity for it. I would classify my shape as bottom heavy. That served it’s purpose but it didn’t fit through several of the doorways in the house. Two of which were my bedroom and the laundry room. It was such a hassle. And it was too heavy and cumbersome for me to get it in and out of the car. Anyway, I’ve since lost a good bit of weight and have been searching for a rollator that had enough space between the handles to accommodate my “shape”, even though I’m much smaller than I used to be. I am now over 50 pounds lighter than the weight capacity for this Flying Joy rollator and it is wide enough to fit my bottom! Plus it’s not as heavy so it’s easier to handle. It feels sturdy too. The brakes work as expected. I like the all terrain wheels. The seat is plenty comfortable in my opinion. My son put it together in about five minutes! No problems. One thing that I would mention is that the clips that hold the brake cables to the back frame that are pictured in the video are not clips. They are black velcro strips instead. They work just fine. I thought that the clips were missing until I realized the velcro strips were there wrapped around the back frame at the seat level. So don’t overlook them. I know it’s really early yet to review this rollator, but if I run into any issues or problems I will definitely update my review. I have looked at so many different rollators. I don’t want to look at any more! Fingers crossed!!! Well, it’s been about a week that I’ve been using this walker now. I still like it. I just thought I’d add some comments. I’m not thrilled with the plastic pieces that stick out on the bottom of the legs. I know that their purpose is to lift the front wheels when you come to a curb or uneven surface by stepping on them. I never had this feature on any other rollator that I’ve ever owned and frankly I never wished I did. I’ve actually bumped my ankles on them a few times and it hurts like hell! I may need to find a way to cushion them. This rollator is narrower than my old one so it might be something that I get used to and learn to avoid and I wouldn’t rate it with less stars because of it. But I wanted to mention it. The storage bag under the seat is great. Very roomy. Even more roomy than my old, bigger rollator. I found that the brake cables, even though velcroed to the back legs, were sticking out and getting caught on things when I passed by. I had a couple of really small bungee cords that I used to secure them to the front legs at the seat level and that seems to be working well. Still happy with my purchase. I will update if anything comes up. ... show more

  • Smooth.
Color: Purple
This is currently a 5 star. Really a 4.5, but better than 4, so 5. We'll see how it does over the course of the year. When my body failed me, I dug out my mother's Drive walker. She used it for 11 years, no problems. I used it for two more until I went up a curb crooked with a load of books on the seat and cracked the frame. I also own a Veloped trek which I adore, but no good for inside the house. When the old Drive died, I just got a new one. Bad idea, I guess Drive doesn't make good products anymore. Less than a year after I got it, the right front fork stem bearing gave out, grinding squeaking and catching. Drive believes that that part should fail within a year as they had no intention of honoring the life time warranty on a "wear and tear" part. If that is what they think of their own products, time to try something different. Enter this rolling purple lovely. Pros: larger wheels (also a con, see later). They roll smooth, turn well, go over bumps, transition to outside well if I don't want to haul out the Trek to pick tomatoes, and maneuver without effort. Fits through doorways. I have a (again Drive) Cleverlite that says it's 26" wide, but they didn't include the nuts. Love you design, but doesn't fit through doors. Really adjustable. Seat adjusts, arms adjust. Easy to fold. The bar makes it a breeze. Firm seat. My old walker had a hard seat. The newer Drive had a squishy seat. This one is in between. Firm enough to carry soup and not spill. Feels solid Great color Cons: Lots of plastic parts that look like they will break. But they haven't so no dings yet. Brakes are just OK. For me, fine. But I wouldn't trust them on a downhill with a person with balance issues. Wheels are large. Need more spin radius room. Not insurmountable. No place for my cupholder. The one provided is tiny. Back rest is at an odd angle. Not 90 °, more like 75 or 80°. Top leans towards you. Stupid butterfly wing "ergonomic" handles. Not good or bad, just a thing: welds are very visible, not smoothly finished. Oval tubes, not round No crossbar under the seat (I would rest my grabber on that. Brakes definitely needed adjusting, mine dragged. Bottom line, much smoother for a person who needs to lean into a walker, small enough for interior doors, wheels good enough for exterior use, folds easily (a nice velcro strap holds it closed if your may be floppy, mine isn't atm), and the dopey butterfly wing handles are at least soft enough they don't kill the base of my thumbs (who thought those would work for everyone?) Carries items, maneuvers well, easier on my hands and arms. Not fond of the soft back. But it's a personal preference. Nice choice for an inside/moderate outside walker. ... show more

  • I have named it THE BEAST!
Color: Orange
Overall, I love this rollator. I'm calling it THE BEAST because it certainly is not delicate! And that's a good thing. Height is perfect for my 5'6" frame. The 8" wheels are getting me over my daughter's terraced lawn with minimal fuss. It's large, but folds down so it doesn't take up ridiculous room in the car. I love the handle under the seat. One pull and the whole rollator folds, making it much easier when I travlel. The cup holder is a nuisance; I took it off. That's my only complaint. At the moment, this very sturdy rollator is just what I want. ... show more
