I was recently gifted a walking pad for my home office. As I got a nice desk/shelf combo not too long ago, I was not looking to replace it for a stand up desk, nor was I looking to spend the money on a motorized stand up desk. My home office has little space, so I was looking for a stand up option that could fold up. It took me a while to find this option, but once I did, I had high hopes that it was "the one". It was delivered tonight and I couldn't wait to put it together. Yes, there is a little bit of assembly, but it took me a total of 15 minutes from opening the box to carrying it upstairs assembled. It's very easy, the directions were easy to follow (there's 4 steps), and the tool provided did the job. It was packaged well, and I received all the parts needed to put it together, along with an extra screw. I folded it up a couple of times to move to the room and test it out with my walking pad. The movement is very smooth and the desk is not very heavy making it easy to move around. When not in use, I plan on storing it behind the door of my home office (see picture). Very easy to assemble and seems very sturdy. As others have mentioned it fits perfectly over a small treadmill/walking pad. My only qualm is that I wish the height was more adjustable. I'm 5' 2" and this is just a little tall for me. It's usable but would be more comfortable if I could lower it by an inch or two. I love that it folds almost flat for storage though. ... show more

I'm a watercolor painter and had lumbar spine surgery 3 months ago, and can stand for long periods of time more safely than sitting in a recliner or other chair. I needed an option to stand and paint or work on the computer sometimes. This item is PREFECT. It's very sturdy, and the feet at the bottom of the legs adjust so you can make it sit evenly with no wobble. The desk surface is smooth and looks nice. It's light enough that I'm allowed to lift it when folded. Easily slides behind a door or the sofa to store when not in use. I'm 5'9" tall, and the desktop is above my belly button, so it's perfect for me and I don't have to lean at all (which is unusual for me!) and my neck is not strained. I couldn't have found a more perfect item, took all of 4 minutes to assemble, as assembly was almost complete when it was received. Please note that the option with the black top is wider than this model. I considered that, which might be good if you are using with a treadmill. I have been wanting a standing desk to use with my walking pad but felt like the converters were so ugly and bulky, and didn’t want to pay hundreds for a brand new standing desk. I got this and it is perfect! My walking pad fits perfectly under it and it is a great height for me (5’6). I will say, I am looking down a little bit when using my laptop but my arms are at the right height to type and use the computer. Very easy to put together and fold up if you want to put it away. I like the desk but I’m taking away two stars because you DO need to assemble this desk. It is easy and they provide wrenches, screws, etc but I was not expecting to have to put the dang thing together. On the plus side, it’s very light, sturdy and portable. I got this to stand up and use the computer in my front room, so I didn’t want something there all the time. This desk folds up well, is very sturdy and can support me leaning on it as I game or work on the computer. A mouse and keyboard fits easily on it, I also use it for drawing and painting. All tools included, easy setup, 3 main screws for the desktop, then two braces for the legs with two small screws each. The four adjustable pads at the bottom are nice as my apartment leans and wobbles randomly because it’s a junk place owned by a landlord corporation. Great desk though! ... show more
