I expect that the reviews that state problems with assembly aren't following the directions. The rounded corner pieces are interchangeable and symmetrical, but the other corners are specific on which side, and which direction they need to be pointed. This frame was easy to put together and has held my heavy king sized mattress and myself along with my 2 teenage kids, and we are not small guys. Would definitely recommend this frame to anyone needing a good sturdy bed frame.

OMG DO NOT BUY!!!! I am so angry I got this entire bed almost put together and then the last 4 cross bars would not fit, standing and looking at it the frame is warped!! POS SAVE yourself some time and pay $10 more for a better one!! UGHHHHHHHH

Seems sturdy enough overall, but definitely not good quality. Some of the pieces need to be forced into place, and one of the brackets was missing from the one I got.
