    • Not enough hot water to take a shower
Purchased this as part of a remodel project. Did not get it installed and use until first week of December. Hoped our expectations were unrealistic but sadly it just will not give hot water for a complete shower and if someone else wants a shower there will be 30-60 minute before there will even be warm water. Very unhappy and since we didn't install and use immediately we can not return. Update: unit must be faulty as it will not even give warm water now. Can't turn up past 80°. Reply said they work with us after verification. What do I verify, I bought it, it doesn't work and are now visiting family for showers and heating dish water on the stove. 1/22/24 I am still doing without hot water. Amazon contacts fogatti, fogotti says they'll work with me and finally yesterday fogotti says to request refund from Amazon. I'm getting a run around. Completely bogus response and I'm stuck with an expensive box that does not work. Stay away people, far away. 78 yr old great Grandmother on fixed income can not afford this. ... show more

This instant heater will pull a lot of electricity from the get-go. If you are trying to use this in an off-grid application it may be too much. If you're connected to the electric company you will be just fine.

    • Issues. NOT Resolved. Resolved Finally.
Update: The mfr. sent a replacement water heater which just arrived today. We bought this unit in Dec and in June it just quit working. I contacted customer service. Was not satisfied with the initial response but have since been contacted by the manufacturer to resolve the issue. Obviously the reason they contacted me about this issue is because they wanted this BAD review removed from the website. They made promises over the phone and then sent an email with contradictory info. When I responded to the email, I was ignored. When I called and got a voicemail- I left a message. They ghosted me on that too. Still waiting for an actual resolution to my water heater issue. Hoping that Harold, who made the promises, will follow through with his promise. When we called again, we were told that a supervisor was unable to get on the call, Harold was on vacation, and they would request that we get a call back within the next two days. The customer support number for the Fogatti company shows up as a MN location, when actually you are talking to someone in Asia. When asked about the managers - we are told that the main headquarters is in China. Would NOT recommend anyone to purchase from this company unless you enjoy frustration!!!! Would have given less than one star rating, but that’s the least you can do. Upset and angry in SD. ... show more

did not work out of the box. Hired a tech who told me the wiring was correct to the wire diagram and the voltage was correct yet no power post or board. NO led and now hot water i bought 4 of them only 3 work. One dead on arrival. Tryed to reach customer service said got a scam coupon company. Not happy!!! ... show more

    • No heat
After the install I contacted tech support to understand why the unit isn't heating the water. It's on. It's reading the inlet temp. I have 240 at BOTH of the L1/L2 connections. the unit recognizes when water is turned on, does not heat.

I really do not appreciate being sent a tankless water heater that is already known to be under recall by the manufacturer the unit was received look to be in good working order will not power up we verified the power supply verified the wiring with the manufacturer went back and forth a bit the unit will not power up manufacturer finally told us that the unit was under recall so why are you selling units that you know are under recall do not appreciate it do not buy from this vendor or another fogatti. ... show more
