I got this foaming soap dispenser over the weekend and we have already gotten a lot of use out of it! The design is visually pleasing! That sounds silly but its true, some of the other dispensers out there have more of a commercialized bathroom look whereas this one looks nice sitting at my kitchen sink. It does use 3 triple A batteries which are not included so you will want to make sure you have those before using. It was simple to add the soap and water to the tank. The first couple of auto pumps of the soap were a bit messy and too much BUT it was only the first couple of pumps and it was just the machine getting primed. Once sufficient soap is in the tube its easy going! You just wave your hand under it and it lights up, and it gives just the right amount of soap! Since we live in the time of covid 19 we have been washing our hands even more than usual and being able to simple wave your hand underneath the nozzle is a big plus, you dont get any germs on your soap dispenser. I really like the ease of use I am probably going to get one for the bathroom too. It's the perfect size and like I said before it looks pretty nice. To start, I am a very understating person, and I have never written a bad review. But to possibly save some aggravation and money for others, I felt compelled to write a negative review for this product. Throughout the years I have purchased two different types of automated foaming soap dispensers, in three different orders, all of them under $20/each. I have been using these for years, and have never had any problems with any of them. I bought this product, because at the time of ordering, this seemed to be the best priced dispenser at $16 with the highest customer rating. After assembling it, and using store bought pre-mixed foaming soap, I can see it is powered, because the paw looking light is lighting up white and red, and one time there was a squirt of foam coming out. But no matter what I do, I checked the straw, the batteries, the connection of the soap reservoir, turned it upside down, as I read in some answers, no sound, no foam. Some people said they messed around with it about 40-50 times and some got it to work, some didn't. This should be a product of convenience, and a very simple product. We should not be spending days on this to try to get it to work. All my other dispensers are a breeze to set up, refill, change batteries, even change soap foam amount. So I am sorry to say, do not buy this product, there are other, inexpensive ones that actually work, without having to do all sorts of tricks and spending precious time on to get it to work, if you are lucky. I unfortunately am out of the return time frame, so I will just have to throw those out (1 star for the reservoir being recyclable), so am buying the one I bought before that for sure works and is now at only $12. ... show more

The device works well and looks good. I'm impressed that I haven't had any sensor misfires nor has it ever dripped. The pump is very quiet compared to other powered soap dispensers I have used. I can understand why the price is rising: it's a good value. I like that you can easily turn it off using the button on the back. You don't have to worry that you'll accidentally trigger the dispenser while cleaning the counter or sink. We have another dispenser that's impossible to disable without triggering it at least a couple times. I'm slightly disappointed at the amount of soap dispensed. One squirt is just barely enough foamy soap to feel like I'm doing a good job washing my hands. I wish it dispensed just a little more at a time. There are some discrepancies between the product information on this page and the actual product, probably from translation difficulties or confusion between similar models. Most of these are not actual problems, just things you might want to be clear about before selecting this model. * Here it says, "10s breathing light prompts the length of hand washing, giving Full time reminder." I took this to mean that the light would blink or stay lit for 10 seconds as a way to remind you to take enough time to scrub your hands well. The one I received doesn't do that, nor is there any mention of it in the little booklet. * It operates on 3 AA batteries. The top description says 4 AAA, the lower description says 3 AA, and the answer to one of the questions says 2 AA. The correct answer is 3 AA. * It does NOT come with a USB cable, which is fine, since it's powered from regular batteries. But the description says a USB cable is included and elsewhere implies that you can charge it up. * Here it says, "waterproof design." It's true that splashing and drips are unlikely to damage the product, but the manual points out that you should not immerse it nor hold it under running water. It's appropriate for wet locations, but not truly waterproof. ... show more

    • It stopped working after ten months :(

Couldn’t even get a full year use out of it before it broke down on me. Was working perfectly without flaw until it just suddenly stopped pumping soap one day. The paw light still lights up showing that the sensor is working and it recognizes my hand motion, however it doesn’t even attempt to draw any soap through the pump at all. Pretty disappointed. A soap dispenser at this price should last at least two years. I don’t recommend. ... show more
