These are really cheap quality pillows. They appear square in the picture, but only the cheap fabric they are sewn into is square. The stuffing is an amorphous blob of polyfill that cannot be pulled out to fill in the corners. I bought the 20x20 size so they would fill out the 18x18' pillow covers I have. They don't fill up the corners at all. The only good thing I can say about these is that they arrived quickly, thanks to Amazon Prime. Received these pillows today. One seam was split, and sewed it up no problem. That was my reason for 4 stars. This was my first time buying "inserts" and wasn't sure if they were covers that you stuffed, or actual pillows needing covers. I purchased 12×20 covers, and bought 12×20 pillows. These were the best value for pillow inserts I could find. In reference to complaints about the pillows being too thin/small for the cases, if you follow the chart in the product image section from the manufacturer sometimes they recommend you buy a size up. So I purchased 20x20 inserts for my 18x18 pillow cases, and they are a very snug fit! ... show more

Came to the door already busted open with stuffing coming out. These aren't very firm, so using them for lumbar support on the couch is probably not going to work out.

    • Great budget pillow, unwashable without reinforcing with your own sewing

These are perfect as couch pillows and are loaded with tons filling. The drawbacks is the cheap design. It is just cheap, thin fabric sewn together. And it absolutely will not survive a cycle through the washer, not even on a gentle cycle. I had to sew a ton of it back together after trying to run it through the washer before initially using it. For the price these are good starter pillows, but everyone should be aware of what they are getting into also when paying this price. I spent a lot of time resewing them to be usable. If you will want to run them through the wash, save yourself a ton of time and resew all the way around these pillows to avoid them ripping the cheap thread that is originally holding these together. The good thing is these were great budget pillows which is what I was after. However, even if they made it a few cents more, the company really could have done it right the first time and used slightly higher quality thread. ... show more

Outside material was a very thin interfacing type material that would tear easily if you get it caught in a pillow cover zipper. From all the good reviews I would have thought these would be nice. I am very disappointed and feel I could have done better just getting some inserts at Walmart since the ones I usually buy take a few weeks to be delivered. Ok so I did a lot of research for inserts and finally settled on these. I ordered the 24x24 for my 22x22 covers. I like them but here are my pros and cons Pros: Great for the price, fluffy once you open the vacuum bag, looks nice in the covers Cons: The ends does not fill to the tips, covering on pillows is somewhat like hospital pillows you would definitely need a cover for them and you can't do the pillow chop with these as shown in my 2nd pillow Overall they severed the purpose of an insert will buy again ... show more

For it's price, it's ok to get if you just need to stuff your Euro shams that come with your bedsheets. it's not the MOST high end stuff, but hey, you are paying for a 2 pack economic price. The pillows come vacuum packed- it feels like the pillows on an airline- polyester fluff inside and the scratchy almost clinical gauze like stuff on the outside. the pillow may have some lumps and unevenness to it b/c it's not evenly spread out, so you may have to mechanically tug at corners and smooth out the polyester inside to make it more even. But once you cover it with your Euro sham, that should press it down like a spanx jacket over an uneven belly. Lightweight and won't have to worry about bursting it and causing a mess if there's a pillow fight. ... show more
