Why spend 1500$ on a Board game table when you can build one for around 300$! These pergola brackets albeit cheaper than other are just fine! The paint is a bit easy to scratch so use some clear coat on them. The wrench they send with them to use on the included bolts is very thin and janky. Pretty straight forward and easy to assemble. I wish there as a hook for the sail. I also wish the bolts could be drilled in. I would buy again.

    • They seem sturdy and are easy to install
If you’re using pressure treated wood and it’s still green, you may have to plane just a bit off for these to fit. We didn’t have to do that with all of our posts, just a couple. They seem to be of good quality. Install is very easy.

I was glad to find these affordable brackets for our project. Liked the packaging. As every other bracket, it fitted lose on the 4x4s, my husband added a small piece of wood and that secured it.
