  • Amazingly sturdy
This tub is really sturdy. Pretty easy to assemble, just finger tighten the screws until you have all the parts assembled. A little wiggle room is needed when attaching the 4 legs to the tub. So much easier to wash my dogs from a standing position instead of kneeling beside the bathtub or shower. I leave it set up in the guest bathroom. It fits perfectly in the tub/shower enclosure. With the glass shower doors closed, you really don't even notice it's there. The dog tub is tall enough that I can use the hand-held shower massage and still have plenty of slack in the water line. ... show more

  • Great as a “pet” bath but not for a grooming business; even if all you do are small dog.
This is a great sturdy tub for my one dog every two weeks or so. There is no back or sides to prevent over spray. I am using it in the laundry room so it drains into the floor drain. Was just a bit big for the bathtub that would have given me a surround for water over spray. For the meantime I am making a surround out of 2x2 and corrugated plastic that will drain down the walls to the floor drain. I will be starting a pet grooming business in November so I will be purchasing the flying pig 38” tub as I will only be doing dogs small and medium. I wish I had bought this even for a “pet bath” to begin with. ... show more

  • A Great Aid for Senior Pet Owners
My husband and I have lower back trouble bending over the bathtub washing our two senior dogs: one 17 and the other 13. One dog is almost blind and going to the groomer is just too traumatic for both of them so we must bath and clip them ourselves. I never believed I would find a solution and the kitchen sink is too shallow for either dog. We bought this portable standing tub which we put inside our guest bathtub. This is a shower and we purchased a portable sprayer head with the longest stainless hose we could find at Lowe's. We had an old rubber bath mat that we cut down to fit inside the dog tub so the dogs felt secure and could stand without slipping in soap and water. Now I can stand to shampoo, blow drip, and even clip the dogs if necessary. The legs are stable, the plastic is solid and easily cleaned. I am so impressed with the quality and think the price is very reasonable. Our dogs are under 15 pounds and this size is perfect for them. Would work great for puppies and with a collar on any dog and a short lead, the dog could be attached to the sides of the tub to prevent the dog from jumping out. When we are finished, the tub is dried and placed in a closet with plenty of room for supplies inside the tub until needed again. A great idea that is making bath time not something we dread anymore. ... show more

  • Sturdy Tub, but Beware of Drain
Great bathtub for dogs! Definitely helps your back so you don’t have to bend over. Sturdy and made from thick plastic. Legs are slightly adjustable to allow for leveling with the floor or making one side slightly elevated to allow for faster draining of water in the tub. DOWN SIDE: The only complaint and safety issue is that the inner edges of the round holes in the drain are very sharp! I was removing a piece of grass from the drain and my finger nail got caught in one of the drain holes and it ripped the tip of my nail off. My small 5 lb. dog also got the tip of his toe stuck in it and it cut the pad on his toe. If you have a small dog or puppy I would put a mesh strainer over the drain to prevent an accidental injury. ... show more

  • Great tub for Short smaller dogs
I have two 30lb. Corgis & this tub is about perfect for them. I've wanted one for a long time as bending over to bathe them in a standard tub wears on my back & our shower nozzle struggles to reach & rinse their bellies. Fair warning it is not that easy to lift your dog into this tub. I would not recommend it for a larger dog & I am well above average in shape. It is also messier to dry them. In a traditional tub the dogs SHAKE at the end & eliminate so much water. They do not feel comfortable doing that yet, so I'm left lifting a dripping wet dog to the ground. Hopefully they will adapt OR I'll figure out a better method of drying them IN the tub. However I'm still in love with this tub because the bath itself goes SO much quicker! This is because they are no longer standing in the tub of sudsy water. The hair that clogs the drain is not an issue anymore. Very happy after our initial trial. ... show more

  • No more back pain, great dog bath tub
Love this tub! Wish I had found it sooner. I place it in my walk in shower and bathe my Pembroke Corgis in it with no back or knee pain. Plus, they move around less than when I use to bathe them in the regular bath tub. I got them use to this elevated tub by putting them it with treats, letting them smell around and then taking them out after a bit. When it came time to add water and get a bath, they had no problem. I really like the narrow legs on the tub as it allows the tub to fit in smaller areas and I can get right up to it. Very sturdy, should last forever. I also like that the tub catches most of the hair before sending it down the drain. It did take me about an hour to put together, which was longer than I thought it was going to take. Great product! A must for medium to small dogs. Would be nice to have some sort of flat built-in area for soap bottles. ... show more

  • A great conveniece.
I love this bath! It works extremely well for bathing my English Cocker Spaniel puppy and his big brothers, a field bred english cocker and a Boykin. The height of the bath is just right for me so I don't have to lean over. I used to avoid giving the dogs a bath because of the serious back pain from bending over. But I'm happy to do it now. I set it up on the back yard deck and fill gallon jugs with lukewarm water to wet the dogs, and also the garden hose (but that water is rather cold). The tub does not have a rubberized floor, and the dogs slipped too easily. So I glued on a rubber mat. The drain plug is just loose and can easily be lost. Setting up the bath was not nearly as easy as I thought it would be. But once it was assembled, it's great! I haven't yet tried using it in the bathtub. In the winter I will have to try it. ... show more
