As a 5'7" female, this bench works great for me. I love all of the features it comes with, it was easy to assemble and it doesn't take up too much space. I would say if you are taller than 5'11", this won't work very well for you as a bench. My 6'2" husband can't lay down on it to properly use due to the back extension piece that attaches. His head is off of the bench and he can't scoot down low enough due to the back extension (and no it doesn't work removing it as the stabilizing piece still juts above the seat). Otherwise good product for the price. Just wish he could comfortably use it too! ... show more

For something that is only $120 you're really getting your money's worth. This bench seems to be good quality, and versatile. My only 3 complaints are that the instructions aren't super clear what screws are which, the head rest could be a bit longer before needing to extend it. However I am happy that it extends. And that I don't really understand the purpose of the padded preacher curl station/back extension laying completely flat ... show more

It was not easy to assemble because the labels on screws are not there one could easily make wrong assembly eventually you will catch the issue but it increase the time to assemble. The bench is kind of small not recommend if you are taller than 5 ft 10 inch. I use it mostly with dumbbell exercises. Building up strength after back surgery few years ago. Have some confidence now to go ahead with my strength training. It is by no means for heavy duty use if one above 200 lbs people just to be on safe side. For light moderate use this is good investment. Don’t take lot of space on floor either. ... show more

    • Servicable bench, with some definite issues
For the price, this is an ok bench, that will hopefully last me through the pandemic. I originally bought the larger Flybird bench, but at 21" high, it was unusable, so I returned it and bough this one instead. Neither is great - a combo of the two could be great (for the price, at least). This one is 17" high, and so is good for me at 5'10", and my wife, at 5'8". The adjustment for back and seat angle are pretty clumsy (especially the seat, which is downright annoying). Importantly, the feet are NOT 15" wide, as stated in the listing (picture w/ dimensions). Maybe they would be if I got the bevelled rubber ends. But mine are square and thin, and the feet with rubber ends measure 12-3/8". Which makes this a pretty unstable bench - I would not be comfortable without my feet on the ground (decline press, etc.). 15" feet would have solved that, I think. Furthermore: the lumbar pad is completely pointless. In flat position, it is dead even with the rest of the back, providing zero additional support. Which is ok (if lame), except the extra gap makes certain exercises slightly awkward. Other minor concerns: 1) The bracket that supports the seat seems quite flimsy - so far it is holding up though. 2) In flat position, if I sit on the head-end of the bench, it dips down, and the middle pivot of the bench rises up a 1/2" or so with a clunk (yes, I have the pin in the main pivot) - annoying but I can deal with that. 3) The back and seat are too small - totally usable, but not ideal. Overall, this thing is definitely doing the trick so far though. Hopefully it will hold up for a while. ... show more

    • Sturdy and easy to assemble
I ordered this for my wife (and me), it arrived on-time and undamaged. It was extremely easy to assemble and folds up nicely when needed. It is very sturdy and stable, we looked at benches at retail outlets and we were not impressed with the stability of most of the benches we looked at in person. Most were more expensive, lacked the sturdiness and stability of the FlyBird. After reading the reviews here and seeing some reviews on YouTube we ordered from Amazon, we were not disappointed. We are very impressed with the quality, ease of use, sturdiness, and most of all the stability of this bench. I would recommend this bench to anyone for their home workouts. ... show more
