The look of this vest is perfect and the functionality is everything you could want for a fly fishing vest. Tons of pockets, clips, and tie off points. It fits my 270 pound, 6 foot frame with adjustment left to spare. I would say it could be adequate up to a 3xl mens. I like the floatation option for deep water wading as it gives some security to the potentially of being swept down river by fast water. The only downfall is that it is not USCG approved and therefore is not legal for boating use as a pfd in my home state. I do not see any restriction of movement as the strap design and compact pouches leave your arms free to move, even with the added foam. ... show more

I wear this kayak fishing, so there’s a lot of movement. I found this vest to fit snugly and comfortably. I’ll have it on for 4-5 hour stretches. There are more than enough pockets of all sizes to fit most anything you want. I’m not sure where other reviewers took issue with it being noisy. I found it to be quiet, despite all the motion of kayaking. My only issue is a small one. Couldn't have been happier. It is light. Actually keeps me above water...I fall in streams a lot, and the pockets allow me to carry extra flies and other materials so that I don't have to worry about lugging along a tackle box.
