I'm just getting back into welding, and despite being more familiar with stick, was excited to find a number of these 3-in-1 welders that would be perfect for anything I might need done around the house - or in a friend's garage - and would help hone my MIG skills as well! Everything is here but your PPE, and assembly was as easy as plugging in and switching on (though getting the included spool on takes a bit more). The instructions are pretty bare bones, and assume you're familiar with the basics of welding; they say to search up a video using the item name for more information, but at the time I got mine there was no such video anywhere on YouTube. Another weird quirk was the QC tag, which says my unit passed "inspertion". The ARC cables are thick and lengthy, especially with how easy it is to move the machine around, and are gauged far over the max amps. On the few test beads I done, it hasn't gotten overly hot on any component - though I'm not using it for anything besides thin gauge steel and iron. I'm still playing around with the MIG gun to get the feel, and don't plan on anything with gasless TIG, but am happy with the results. It's not exactly as beginner friendly as I would've thought given the description, but for the price this kit is as good as advertised for the home welder, especially at the price - which right now is discounted to under $100 - and packs more than enough power to do it! ... show more

Very small, reasonably light unit, I am guessing about 8lb weight. Digital display, minimal controls to confuse the user. All metal case. Comes with everything you need to start welding except PPE. (Which is good, I dislike the terribly PPE thats some suppliers think they are obliged to include) Thank you for reading my review and looking at my photos of this product.     • Great for a first-timer & super portable
This was easy and mostly intuitive to set up in spite of not owning a MIG welder in the past. The instructions were lacking to say the least and have the - and + backwards in the MIG instructions. The video the instructions point you towards is more of an ad with no set-up instructions at all. Being brand new to MIG I’d feel safer with a little clarity provided. That being said, there are plenty of other videos that helped me understand exactly what I needed to be doing and that the instructions just had the polarity backwards. I was able to weld the 3/32 angle iron I had on hand as a test and got the job done. If anything I had to back off a little as it was too hot. The wire spool easily installed and passed through the guides. It has a .03/.04 guide wheel that just needs to be flipped between the size options. Pretty sure this will do any of the welding jobs I would find myself doing around the house. Super portable unit though I wish it included clear instructions. ... show more

This MIGBLOOM Flux Core Mig Welder 110V - 145A 3 in 1 is a versatile and great little machine. You can't beat this unit as it is a good value and it performs as expected for a welder that runs on 120v. For repairs and maintenance around the home and shop, no problem. You won't be doing any heavy-duty thick steel welding, but for every thing I work on here in my shop, it's plenty. I've only used the .040 flux wire so far, with good results. It's easy to dial in after a pass or two and you are good to go. The wire gun and ground cable are 4 ft. +/- . No problems or issues to report. ... show more

    • Simple, handy MIG welder.
I teach a welding class for a bunch of highschoolers and I've picked up half a dozen inexpensive MIG welders for the kids to be able to run multiple machines so that they can all get the most important thing - PRACTICE. Theory is great, knowledge is great, but experience is what you really need when it comes to welding. Anyway, this machine isn't going to win any awards, but it does seem to work relatively well and it's handled abuse from students so it's fairly durable. I did also try out the TIG and stick welding and they are functional, but more of an afterthought as the real reason you'd want this machine is for the wirefeed functionality. ... show more

    • Good flux core welder
This is actually a pretty nice welder. I needed to weld up some small parts for a larger assembly, but the bother of getting out the gas set stopped me. This is basically plug and play. As long as the parts aren't too thick and you don't need gas mig or tig this works just fine. You get most everything needed to start. The included brush is a bit light duty, but works fine if it's all you have. Get some gloves and a mask and you're welding in 15 minutes. The electronics stayed cool enough for light welds. This isn't a commercial unit, but for the beginner or hobbiest is adequate. And the price is good for starting out. Worth getting. ... show more

    • Great for a beginner
This little welder is great for a beginner. It's easy to set up and to use. Lightweight at only 5.5 lbs. Perfect for small projects, or just a quick repair job to tack something back together. The grounding clip is of good quality and strength. I like that it has a metal hook on the back of the welding tip for hanging on your work bench when not in use. They include a spool of wire and it was super easy to load. At first glance, I couldn't understand why there was a plastic backing plate on the front panel, especially knowing everything else about this little welder is of very high quality. It finally dawned on me it's to protect the wiring. Which makes total sense. Great value at $149.99. I'd definitely buy this tool again. ... show more
