Wow, this agave plant is stunning and really well-made! Even though it's made of plastic, it looks so real from a distance! You might notice that up close, the leaves have a slightly plastic-y appearance, but to be honest, natural agave leaves often have that same look. When you first receive this plant, you'll want to bend the leaves down to open them up and give it a fuller look - it's such a fun process! The plastic material is nice and sturdy, so it might take a little while for the leaves to loosen up and spread out, but it's worth the wait. The leaves are all a beautiful shade of green, with some light green accents around the edges, creating such a pretty, natural look. It reminds me a lot of a Foxtail Agave. I especially love the new shoot coming up in the center - it makes the fake plant seem so much more lively! And the smooth leaves are super easy to clean, just wipe them down with a damp cloth. This plant is designed to feel just like a real one, and the "soil" looks just like dirt! But I think it would look even better with some white marble chips, pea gravel, colored stones, or glass marbles around the base. Also, the black plastic pot is modern and minimalist, but you can always place it inside a terracotta or decorative ceramic pot to add some extra flair! ... show more

I really like this plant, very well made and larger than I thought it would be. My only negative would be the color - it is very pretty but looks fake. I feel like if it was slightly lighter or darker then it would not stand out as much. The crayon green color just looks more artificial than some other plants I have. The Floweroyal Artificial Succulent resembles an agave plant. Up close, you can tell that it’s plastic. But from a distance, it looks real. Natural agave leaves look kind of plastic-y anyway. When you first receive this plant, you have to bend the leaves down to open them up and make it look fuller. The plastic is pretty thick so it may take a while before they loosen up and spread out. The leaves are a uniform green, with maybe a hint of light green in some spots such as around the edges, but it’s definitely not variegated. It looks a lot like a Foxtail Agave. I love how it has what looks like a new shoot coming up in the center! That helps to make this fake plant seem more “alive.” The leaves are smooth and will be easy to clean by wiping with a damp cloth. This plant is weighted to feel like a real plant. This faux agave plant is perfect for anyone who (like me) has no green thumb but still wants to enjoy the beauty and extra sunshine that this will bring into your life. This arrived packaged well and is ready to go right out of the box. The leaves are gonna take some patience though. There are no wires but with enough bending, smooshing, mooshing, shaping AND patience, you’ll get them to relax and it will look as it should. This is one of the more realistic faux plants that I’ve owned. It has a great weight to it as well so if placed outside, it won’t blow over with wind. The black plastic pot looks pretty good as is in my opinion, but you can easily put this in a nice ceramic pot, add some moss or stones and bam…this somehow just got even better. The leaves have shades of green which help to make this look more realistic. They both look and feel quite real. And again, don’t be afraid to bend these down until you get your desired look. I set mine in the sun to warm it up and with enough time of smooshing the leaves down, it relaxed and it looks fabulous! Overall, I think this is a worthwhile investment. This will last a long while…you’ll probably get sick of looking at it before it actually even needs replaced. 5 stars! ... show more

This is a nice small to medium, green accent, artificial plant. It arrives ready to display right out of the box with no assembly. It arrives secured in its own plastic pot and solid, no shedding plastic dirt layer. The plant itself is a uniform green and a little plastic looking, but not too bad. The pot is weighted exceptionally well, much better than other artificial plants I have which keep blowing over in the slightest breeze. I suppose the ideal is to place the black small pot into a larger ceramic planter with dried moss or something around the base of the plant out to the gap between the two pots to hide the gap and make it all pull together nice, but I haven't got to all that yet. This plant fits my porch decor and matches the other pots and plants. I like the fresh green it adds. It comes rather closed up looking, but don't be shy to smash the plastic leaves down the way you like them. They are not wired, but the plastic will listen to you with enough gentle force. Mine in the photo has been coaxed into looking more full. Great gift for anyone without a green thumb. Would be the perfect size for an office desk/cubicle/reception area counter plant. ... show more

This succulent aloe artificial plant came packaged very well. Heavier than I expected. The black base isn’t that attractive- plastic and kind of cheap. The leaves are a deep green and very thick and stiff- difficult to spread apart to arrange them nicely. From a distance it looks nice but I will look for something to set it in since I don’t care for the base. Leaves look too perfect - most real plant leaves have some flaws, spots or differing colors. You can tell it is artificial. Overall it’s fine for a pretty splash of green but not the best quality. ... show more
