If you are anemic at all, this is your solution. The liquid is superior to the tablets but I've used both. The tablets are obviously better for traveling. The taste is not bad. It's like a metallic prune or even rich grape juice. I would not drink a large glass but I can easily swallow a few ml without gagging or anything. And no constipation, at all. I like to take it a day or two before I stare my period because I'm a very heavy bleeder. If I start it before and continue taking it through my cycle, I feel as million times better. I've been taking this product on and off for the last 20 years. If I don't have it, I can really tell the difference in my body. I'm weak, my menstrual cycles are a mess, and I start chewing ice due to anemia. I often lapse on this supplement due to the price. No longer. Every other iron supplement binds me up terribly. No issue ever with that problem with Floradix. This is a staple for me. I actually love the taste. It's kind of a fruity, prune taste. No metallic aftertaste like the other iron supplements.
