I looked at this same style of lamp at a big box store that was $80. I paid $29 for this lamp and I am beyond happy with it. It was packaged extremely well. We unboxed and assembled it in less than 10 minutes. The base is very sturdy. The floor switch is perfect for having it in a corner. It came with a light bulb, but we didn’t want one quite as bright, so we replaced it with a lower watt bulb. It’s definitely a great lamp for the price. ... show more

I’ve had to switch to lamps in my office as opposed to fluorescent lighting due to migraines. This lamp was easy for me to set up and it’s bright enough for my office without being too bright. I do have other lamps in my office but I needed a brighter one for my work space. Love this lamp!
