This lamp looks and works just as described. I find some of the comments silly, saying it doesn’t come with lightbulbs. Clearly, both kinds are offered, so if you don’t buy the one with replaceable bulbs, well, it won’t have replaceable bulbs. I made sure to buy the one with lightbulbs, so I can replace them later when needed. The plastic shades are quite flimsy plastic, but that doesn’t make any difference on the lamps when in use and you can’t tell from the distance, unless you are actually touching them. The actual metal parts and the stand are all sturdy, and with a slim footprint, which works great for me having to squeeze it in a narrow spot between the couch and the desk. Very nice and bright light, and then I can turn the smaller lamp towards the desk or the couch as needed. I recommend it. ... show more

Nice lamp. Very easy to assemble and use. Very bright, brightens up a darker corner we had. Only drawback I can see is you cannot change the bulbs. So what do you do get a new lamp when they go out? Otherwise very cool lamp

Dogs knocked over previous pole lamp which was heavier metal, and stripped threads so pole can't stand up from base. This lamp is lighter,but strangely sturdier since when knocked down not so top heavy to yank pole out of base. Dogs may eventually kill this lamp too, but it just took one fall on older heavier lamp. These are medium sized 20 and 25 pound dogs, maybe larger dogs could do it in faster. Like the grey color better than old black lamp, and the single control for both fixtures rather than separate controls. Satisfied with purchase. ... show more

The lamp looks great and is really bright. I really like the option the three separate lamps give to adjust the brightness. The only negative is the switch and how difficult it is to use. It doesn’t move smoothly. It just seems cheaply made.
