Perfectly adequate lamp that looks good. Know that "adjustable height" is not really that adjustable. The post is in segments that screw together. Each segment is maybe 10 to 12 inches long. So the height is really determinued just once during initial assembly, and the possible heights are only in increments of the length of the segments (not continuosly adjustable). Of course, one could add a segment later, after assembly, but you'd have to unscrew the post from the base in order to add a segment. You can't just easily adjust the height up and down once it's assembled. If you're ok with that, then this is a decent lamp at a good value price. ... show more

I wanted something simple for reading by my bed. The green is a nice color, assembly was easy. In order for it to work at different heights sections must be removed or added. I’m using it at full height therefore the black cord hangs loosely and unattractively from the middle of the lamp’s pole. This was packaged well, in perfect condition and assembled in less than three minutes. The LED bulb it comes with is a warm yellow-white light and perfect for our needs as a bedside reading lamp. The ability to adjust the angle of the lamp is phenomenal and I'm very much looking forward to being less disturbed as I drift while my partner reads!
