Strong and comfortable bed frame,absolutely no noise when you sit, lay down or make love on your bed. My only issue is: the frame is too large, it swallows the mattress (Standard Queen size) there is empty space at the corners, no matter how I put the mattress. So now, I have to use safety corner protector so I don’t get hurt everytime I pass by my bed!!! ... show more

We bought this so we would have a sturdy guest bed for our guests that we could put up and take down as needed. This was very easy to assemble, instructions were simple and clear. Once we put it together it was indeed very sturdy and would support the weight of any of our guest with ease. This frame was also a really nice size - the queen mattress was not falling off the edges of the frame. However, once you put the mattress on the bed you could feel the slats right through the mattress and it was very uncomfortable to lay on - there would be no way to sleep on that (and I weigh less than 150 lbs so it's not because I'm heavy). So a platform or box spring is necessary. We were going to buy formica sheets and have 3 pieces cut to 26" x 60" and then store them with the foldable mattress but just know that adds about $100 bucks more to make this workable if you want to utilize the easy assemble/disassemble feature. Still cheaper than many other less sturdier options out there but just be aware more is needed. Maybe it doesn't need a box spring if you are placing a thick, non folding queen-size mattress that is not memory foam on it, but it won't work with a foldable mattress, which is what we have because the whole reason for getting the frame was to be able to put it together and take it apart easily to give us more room. Also, as a side note, someting other than the box it was shipped in would be nice for storage when folded up- a storage bag perhaps? ... show more

Buyers beware… regardless of when you plan on using this platform, open it IMMEDIATELY to ensure there are no defects!!! We bought it on Feb 7, 2024 intending to use it when my MIL visited, but waited until March 15, 2024 to open the box and set it up. One of the hinges was put on backwards, see photos the one with arrows is flipped and won’t let the support bars straighten fully, and it’s not something we can just unscrew and flip (they appear to be permanently secured). Because we didn’t open it and try to set it up before now, we’ve missed the return window, and are left with an unusable bed frame, and are scrambling for an alternative by tomorrow. ... show more
