Was very easy to assemble, no issues there. Problem came when mounting to wall. The very long wall anchors provided were great, but once you put them into the wall, then try to use the screws provided, the thickness of the unit is too great and the screws do not engage the anchors. I had to use some wall anchors I had in my toolbox to mount this. Looks great, does what we wanted, but was frustrated and disappointed by the issue with the wall anchors provided. ... show more

The shelf itself is ok, but the mounting holes are not 16 on center and the drywall anchors they give you ony expand at the tip so they dont put any pressure on the drywall or suck up to the back of it. Be prepared to drill your own holes on the back of it to line up with your studs. Tge hardware it comes with is not capable of holding just the shelf itself up, nevermind anything you want to put on it ... show more

I overall like the look of the shelf, the screws that came with it to mount were very large and I was unable to secure them with those screws so I got some dry wall anchors and used those instead and the helped make it flush to the wall with support, disliked the led light that came with the shelf, really short and when I went to remove the protective strip covering the adhesive, the adhesive peeled right off and I had to figure out how to get them to stick ... show more

    • Wall mounts stink/should have holes in bottom for cable wires

This was easy to assemble but when it was time to mount it became a pain. assembled unit has to be held up against wall while someone uses drill through the holes in back to make marks in wall so you know where to put mounts. The wall mounts are worthless. I had the wall mounts in and as soon as I had the screws in and let go the unit just pulled out of the wall, bending 2 screws. I went to Lowe's and got good drywall mounts and it hangs just fine. even used support brackets that came with it to lay itsafe. Another problem is there are no holes in bottom for cable wires. I guess the people that made this thinks you just use streaming. ... show more
