Overall very happy with this bed. If you're handy, you won't have a problem putting this together. It does take some tweaking. For example, the slats the bed rests on were too long to fit as instructed. We didn't feel like cutting them so we just left of one of the 2 plastic inserts (see photo of insert) that we were supposed to use. No big deal. We purchased the light grey. I purchased the full size with trundle. So delivery was no problem, insides had no damage, all hardware was included, it went together quick and easy. It supports my very adult weight self no problems. I did put a piece of very thin concrete board on top of the slats, i prefer a more firm support. The thinnest box spring of 4 inches would have put my mattress too high and defeat the "couch" look i wanted. I really like it, seems sturdy so far, only been a couple months. This was easy to put together and it is so cute in my daughters room. Just don't forget the rubber pieces for the boards before you put the mattress back on. I did just that.
