    • Great desk - just watch out during assembly.

Great desk! Ordered this desk for is table top size and electric rising feature. Very glad I got this size top for three 3 monitors I need for work. It goes together with 15-20 bolts and they give you all the tools you need. I love it so far! HOWEVER - be careful when you assemble this. Assembly is easy, but I suggest not to follow the order listed on the instructions exactly. I'm a mechanical engineer and I've dealt with this type of motor drive before. After reading some reviews that the motor burnt out early, I read through the assembly instructions and realized how this can easily happen. ISSUE - They instruct you to assemble the legs and motor drive unit and lock everything down on the frame, then put the desk top on and match up to the holes in the bottom of the desk top. This method could easily create a situation where the drive shaft that connects the 2 legs can get twisted, putting undo pressure on the motor bearing, leading to early motor burnout. Not that this will solve all issues, but WHAT I RECOMMEND IS AS FOLLOWS: Assemble the feet to the uprights and tighten as they say (there is no issue with this part). Assemble the cross member, shaft and trestles to the top of the legs as they say, but KEEP THE SCREWS LOOSE - only tighten the assembly enough to keep it rigid enough to flip it over onto the desk top, THEN loosen the screws screws so everything can move. KEEP EVERYTHING LOOSE. Next, CAREFULLY align the trestles to the mounting holes in the bottom of the desk top, making sure everything moves freely - make sure the drive shaft can easily slide back and forth and the legs are square. NOTHING SHOULD BE FORCED OR UNDER LOAD. Now you can screw the trestles to the table top. NOW you can go ahead, tight up the rest of the brackets and lock in the drive shaft and cross member. This SHOULD prevent and undo load on the motor or cross drive shaft and help prevent motor burnout. Just my 2 cents. Hope it helps! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is a bare bones, simple, adjustable height desk which is exactly what I was looking for. The design allows for optimal space underneath for my legs with no weird protrusions hitting my knees. The frame is well made and easy to put together with the provided instructions. I think it's an extremely fair price for what you're getting compared to other electric desks at around 1.5x-2x the price. The motor is pretty smooth and quiet (see attached video). My buddy has a premium version from a different brand that is a little smoother and quieter but in my opinion it doesn't really matter, I'm not riding this thing on the freeway I'm adjusting the height. Think of this as the Honda Accord vs the more expensive BMW, both work but one has a few more bells and whistles. ... show more

    • Length of crossbeam not specified in step 2
Something to be careful with. Step 2 is to loosen and stretch the crossbeam then install it but there is no mention of how long the crossbeam is to be. There are markings on the crossbeam of "max length" but nothing in the instructions on how long it has to be so I just picked a length and tightened the bolts. It wasn't until Step 5 when I realized the length mattered when it had to line up with the screw holes on underside of the table top, I had to loosen the crossbeam so that I could resize it to match the holes in the underside of the table top. Then just had to retighten the crossbeam and transmission rod. Just odd that there was no mention of the length that was needed. Other than that, it went together pretty easily and used it for the first time today. Smooth movement and I love the ability to stand or sit. ... show more

I built my desk yesterday, took me a while because I like to read the steps a few times. It's probably an hour total assembly, and it's very easy overall. Step 5 can be a little confusing, I've included notes on my pictures to hopefully shorten or reduce frustration as you build. I love the desk so far, I'm 4 hours into my workday. Great height, huge 30x48 workspace so I can still do paperwork while raised/standing. I attached monitor arms to keep the desk clear, too. I mounted a surge protected power strip with an extra long cord to the metal leg. Held in place with double sided tape designed for outdoor use. All my power adapters raise and lower without issue. Used adhesive clips for cable management. Remember to clean the area with alcohol first. I'm not a pro so don't judge my cable skills. 👍 I'm still finessing the final ergonomics of where everything sits, and some peripheral power, but it's great so far! I don't generally write extremely critical reviews unless the product deserves it. Please stay away from this product and don't waste your time and money on it. When I ordered in the first week of Dec 2020. A week later, I assembled the product per the instruction manual. Everything looked nice and sturdy but the motor never worked and let the seller and Amazon know. Then the seller requested a video of the assembly and after 1 week's worth of conversation, the seller said that they will send me a replacement leg with a motor attached. And then I was notified that due to labor shortage, I won't get the replacement soon and they were right, it took them 3 weeks to send me the replacement. I again spent half a day disassembling the previous assembly and assembling the new leg, and guess what! It still doesn't work! The problem probably was with the faulty adapter since getting two consecutive defective motors is unlikely but the seller was dumb enough to troubleshoot this issue so incorrectly. So, 2 days' worth of manual effort in assembling and disassembling and the replacement leg has wrong threads that made my prolonged 2nd assembly were tiresome. More than the seller, I am disappointed with Amazon for handling this case so carelessly and being ignorant of the customer's pain throughout. So thank you Amazon for letting me know that you are guys don't genuinely care for your customers. ... show more
