When we bought our sound bar I had no idea it was not wireless. And a long black chord from the TV to the sound bar looked horrible. This is the same chord in white. So far it works great when the wire before it being a 1.3 standard was not working so well with frames of video dropping I knew I had to replace my hdmi cable. I bought another brand that was future ready just like this flat one and it didn't work, my thoughts that it would work only with newer equipment as my can be old considering what is available today, Im using a 2004 panasonic 720p projector that I bought from Craigslist. This wire works great with no signal loss that I can notice. Like I said single was lost in my 1.3 standard wire but not in this 2.0 standard one. Another plus is the wire is flat which I really like as eventually the room will be painted and the wire can clone right into the wall looking very professional. I am happy to watch my home Cinema without any signal loss which made the video have interference like snow popping up on screen every now and then. That single loss was annoying and I was the only person that noticed it because I'm so finiky about my home theater. I honestly wish I can afford a newer projector with 3D and maybe even 4K but I got to live with the equipment I have as it is what I can afford. However I wanted any purchases for it to be future ready and buying this 2.0 standard 4k wire did it for me. Now I do not have to buy a new hdmi wire when I upgrade my projector. ... show more

    • Works with computer after some trouble shooting

Only tested with Windows 10 and a 4K TV (With an external 1080p DisplayPort monitor plugged in as well) When first plugged in to my computer, the cable defaulted to 2160p(4K) at 30hz, and couldn't do 60hz unless it was at 1080p or lower. After some guess work, I was finally able to get it to do 60hz at 2160p by going into my AMD control panel and changing the Chroma Subsampling from 4:4:4 to 4:2:0 (was a bit jank too, AMD wouldn't give me 4:2:0 until I changed it to 2160p, even if it wasn't displaying anything at first.) I find this strange for a cable that claims to be HDMI 2.0, since it should work with 4:2:2 or 4:4:4 if set to 8 bit color depth, but no display would show if I set it to that (if set over 1080p, that resolution or lower are fine with those chroma subsampling.) Everything else is fine though, picture is great, cable quality is near perfect and sound comes through cleanly. Given the 4:2:0 color though, the only people I wouldn't recommend this cable are people sitting close to a 4K computer monitor doing work, making small text near color harder to read being that up close. However I have no idea why someone would need a 50ft HDMI cable for this purpose. TL;DR If you plug this into your computer and it won't display at 4K 50/60hz, check your AMD or NVIDIA control panel and change the chroma subsampling levels to YCrCb/RGB 4:2:0 ... show more

    • 4K60 Deep Color confirmed at 15ft but fails at 35ft

EDIT (2 Feb 2017): My 35ft cable is giving me 4K 60fps HDR BT.2020 (so on and so forth), THROUGH my Denon receiver, from my Xbox One S. The problem I described below turned out to be my video card's fault. Cheers all around! Unbelievable cable. Like you, I found these cables because I wanted something that wouldn't stand out against my white apartment walls when I ran it along my baseboards. I got a 35-footer, tucked it between the carpet and the wall, and ran it around to another room with my AV gear. But I did all this before replacing my 1080p with a 4K one. Once I got my 4K unit, I quickly learned that 60hz 4K was not an option from my PC (GTX 980) unless I reduced the chroma subsampling to 4:2:0. I was just about ready to make that concession, but then I learned that some games (e.g. Doom 2016) force deep color. Not an option. I knew it was the cable, but I really liked the cable, so I figured I'd see how a shorter one would perform. Success! I can run 3840x2160 60Hz on both YCbCr444 and Full RGB (I stick with YCbCr444 for several reasons). And Doom looks incredible. I can't run any 4K60 Deep Color devices from the other room, but that's not the cable's fault, that's HDMI's fault. The cable is legit. And the price is good! And they arrive stupid fast!
