  • Now I got two evolv200 and really like it. Fast recycle
Size: AD200 No BarnDoors
I bought it because I switch from Nikon to Sony and need HSS for some outdoor photoshoot. Now I got two evolv200 and really like it. Fast recycle, portable and the battery give me enough juice for a long day. No more AA batteries or battery pack. The included case its very good and well built. Why to spend in a Nikon Speedlite with I old wireless system when you can have HSS & TTL with enough juice for multiples photoshoot. Its 3 times more powerful than a YN-560IV or Nikon-SB700. Evolv200 has 200W of power and its the same Godox AD200 so all the accessories can be use, but I prefer Flashpoint for the Warranty and Customer Service from Adorama. After few months I bought the AD-B2 for install both Evolv200 and get 400W to underpower the sun in outdoors photoshoot. I really like it and recommended for Sony and any camera users. ... show more

  • Excellent Pocket Flash – Best Product for photography
Size: AD200 No BarnDoors
This pocket flash from Flashpoint is studded with many useful features like 330 foot wireless radio range and optic slave. Light, powerful, easy to control, fast recycle and portability make it separate from other flashes. I am satisfied with its purchase.

  • Portable, Powerful
Size: AD200 No BarnDoors
I have 4 AD200 flashes now. I am a full time wedding photographer. The battery lasts a full day and then some, I have NEVER had a battery die during a wedding. There is enough power to use in full sun. I am going into my third season with these flashes - one did break, but it bounced off the pavement, totally my fault. I sent it in to Cheetah Stand (for real) and they fixed it for under $100. If you don't have this, and you are a shooting pro, I totally recommend this system. ... show more

  • Best buy you can do for 2024
Size: AD200 No BarnDoors
I had the chance to buy this 3 years ago but decided on another option. I was wrong. I recently brought this light from Adorama who by the way shipped it really fast just in time for a shoot, but anyway I lve this light. I am going to buy another one to mount on the adb2 i think it is to turn it into a 400 watt system. Thanks Adorama for having it in stock. ... show more

  • Great Product
Size: AD200 No BarnDoors
What a great product this is! I wish I'd bought it sooner; It addresses the frustrating issue of never having enough power onboard my camera when shooting daytime, outdoor events. I bought it along with its flashhead extension. I used an old, slung camera bag to hold the bulkier bits of the setup while mounting the flashhead itself onto my camera using an L bracket. Radio triggers used for firing; masking taped onto the device so the radio doesn't knock around while I move. Along with a beauty dish, I also recently made use of it as a portable monolight during a portrait shoot. Versatile product and a great addition to my kit. ... show more

  • Game-changing light for location work
Size: AD200 No BarnDoors
This is a game-changing product: light, powerful, easy to control, and comes with stuff that doesn't come with the Godox-branded product (which I also own) - most importantly real support from Adorama because Godox provides zero support in my experience. This is a major comfort factor. I can do on-location headshots all day long with these and not change a battery and never have to run an extension cord. My only issue has been occasional failure to fire, maybe 2 to 4 in 50 shots. I have updated firmware yet though, also I just got the R2 trigger but have not used it yet, so we'll see. Interestingly, I have yet to use the speedlight head - I use these in softboxes and I get more even light with the bulb so dispense with the extra internal diffuser making the power difference moot. I also love the grid and magnetic color correction filters Adorama includes - these don't come with the Godox version. ... show more

  • A few nice improvements
Size: AD200 No BarnDoors
I just got this and have not used it on a job yet. I unpacked it to see if there were any significant changes. For starters, I use these to shoot real estate. Manual settings 100% of the time. My favorite improvement over my AD200 Pro is I can adjust the flash in 1/3rd increments, instead of 1/10th, which I am stuck with on my AD200 pro. The other thing I noticed is it has a brighter LCD screen. I know it doesn't sound like much, but for my job, these are great improvements! ... show more

  • Great value portable flash system
Size: AD200 No BarnDoors
$300 ain't cheap, but it is great value. The flash is powerful and with the Lion battery, refresh time is quick and charging is easy. I switched over to the Flashpoint system for convenience. And it has been sooo much more convenient than the add on remote and add on battery pack I was using. I had one minor bang, but I used the supplied silicon cover, and I had no scratches or cracks. I love the system so much, I might buy another. I haven't used this in a shoot yet, but the Fresnel head actually has a modeling light-- so it is a true portable monolight. ... show more
