Update: The braid around the edge of the table came unglued, so it was hanging till I finally cut it off where it was actually attached into the metal (only one spot). Kind of a dumb idea to glue a plastic braid around it, the plastic stretched out (I'm guessing..) then slid right off the edge. A basic, smooth, tight plastic band (like most tables of this type have) would have been better. However, this is for my husbands BBQ area, to hang out and relax while he's grilling or using the smoker or whatever, so we wanted something inexpensive as it doesn't stay very clean in that area. For that purpose it's held up really well other than the braid. Original: This is a great set for the price. We picked the gray, as it looks like a really dark gray in the pictures, but in person it's much lighter. I'm a little bummed that it's not a darker gray but overall it's cute, sturdy & a great value. ... show more

I was trying to make sure my balcony had right-sized furniture and this has been it. Since my balcony is such an extension of my living room (especially during Covid-19 shelter-in-place) it was also important to me that it would be comfortable enough for me to spend a lot of time using and look good as an extension of my main living area. I did buy some patio pillows for the chairs and while they definitely add comfort to either the seat or the back depending on how you position them, I purchased them for aesthetic reasons. Both the table and the chairs have been easy to keep clean and have stood up well against Chicago wind and rain. My favorite thing about this set is that because of the central leg on the table, it’s easy to put a chair underneath or use as a table/desk because there’s no awkward bar for your legs to contend with. ... show more

Perfect bistro set for my apartment balcony - only needed a 2 chair set. I can enjoy my morning cup of coffee & enjoy the morning mountain views. In the evening, I'll sit in one chair & prop my legs up in the other chair [my cat lets me share it with him] & enjoy the end of the day with a cup of tea & a good book. Enjoy the arm rest on the chairs. The seat is comfortable; however, I added a thin cushion as I'm accustomed to padded chairs. Came in 2 boxes - one large box for the chairs & a flat box for the table [some assembly is needed]. I ordered this because, like many of us, I’m anticipating working from home for a good bit and wanted a little patio set so I can work outside. Pros: super cute, fits my tiny patio perfectly. Decently sturdy for the price. Cons: IT IS NOT EASY TO ASSEMBLE. I consider myself a fairly handy person and I read one review that said the assembly was a snap... if your kit, like mine, shows up a little rolled around, the pieces do not fit together easily. I made it work (shaved down some of the plastic bits and struggled a little to get things tightly in place) but it took some effort. Comes with a wrench so (theoretically) no additional tools needed. This set looks great and assembly was relatively simple. After about 6 months of light use, one of the chairs began to come apart. The rattan material began to come undone on one side of the seat, making it unusable. I thought okay, maybe that one chair had quality issues. Then 3 months later (9 months after purchase), the 3 other chairs also started to come apart. Unless these chairs were made to last only a couple months, there is a quality problem with the chairs.     • Surprisingly sturdy but expect issues when putting it together

I got this as a gift for my wife who wants to be able to sit on our back patio now that we have our first home. It's a nice, compact set. Our back patio isn't large so we needed something that would comfortably fit 4 people but still allow room for our charcoal grill and some space to walk around. This set did the trick. It's small but not too small. The only issue I had with it is that the hardware kit for assembling the table wasn't that great. I got all except one screw that holds the table together to fit. The final screw would not fit because the holes that were drilled to put it together were drilled incorrectly and it's literally impossible to get the final screw in it's place. Fortunately the other screws hold the table together well enough that the loss of that one screw isn't a deal breaker. This isn't the table you're going to expect to last you for years. It's good to get you through a few summers before you upgrade to something nicer. ... show more

I bought this patio set for my deck. It works decent. It's smaller than I expected but still works nicely. I was happy with it until I noticed the side trim on the table was coming off and it was only attached with glue. It is still usable, however, I don't think it's right that I paid $130 for something that didn't even stay true to itself for a month. ... show more
