I bought this weed puller to help get all the weeds out of the yard. It was cheaper than the stand-up weeder and I'm still young so getting down in the dirt doesn't hurt my back yet. After buying it, the neighbors noticed us pulling weeds and let us borrow their weeder (a fancy stand-up weeder). This small weeder is slower and doesn't work on hard/dry soil. It doesn't always manage to get to the roots of the weeds but also leaves smaller holes in your yard where the weed used to be compared to the stand-up weeder. Overall, this works well enough for our needs and would be great in a garden, but if I had to go back, I might choose a slightly more expensive stand-up weeder for the stubborn weeds that won't come out by hand. ... show more

You wouldn’t think a little two prong thing would be so effective at yanking weeds, but this thing is. Plus it’s SOLID. The metal is THICK and the handle is great. If you bend this you are pulling one seriously bad MoFo of a weed! Put down the tool and RUN.
