This is an awesome play set for kids who are into Batman, or even just superhero play sets in general. In this review, I will cover what I personally liked about the toy, along with some objective pros and cons. Pros: Easy to unbox, batteries come preinstalled, cool lights and sounds, easy to use for all ages Cons: No on/off switch to conveniently or quickly mute sounds Shipping & Packaging: The set arrived well packed within a bigger box. In addition to bubble wrap keeping it secure, the entire toy packaging was wrapped in an additional, sealed plastic bag. The toy packaging itself is quite attractive, with colors that pop! The main gimmicks are easily accessible allowing for some quick “try me” features that show off the sounds and lights. Unboxing was straightforward. Simply cut the tape holding the bottom right and left corners together, and everything unfolds from there. The car is attached to the cardboard by three easy-to-twist-off little discs. Lights and sounds: Batteries come conveniently installed on this thing, which is great because the first thing anyone who gets their hands on this toy will want to do is try out the lights and sounds, which I’ve gotta say, are really cool! The red button on the hood actives the all the lights and makes a firing sound (this is the mechanism that activates the bat symbol projectile from the front grill area). You can also twist the flame on the back in either direction to activate driving sounds. These same sounds are also activated by simply rolling the car along the ground. I didn’t find any convenient on/off switch, so the only way to disable lights and sounds would be to unscrew the battery cover and presumably take out one of the batteries (there may be a switch under this cover, but I haven’t unscrewed it at this time, and I think it make sense to hide on/off behind a screw). If you’re working from home and have a little one who plays near you, you may want to keep this in mind, as after a few minutes of play the engine revving sounds can start to wear on your ears a bit. Playability: This toy is really easy to play with. My three year old (almost four) knew exactly how to lift up the car hatch and where to place Batman without any instruction or demonstration. Batman fits comfortably in the seat, and you’re not required to peg him in firmly or anything. Simply sticking his legs out in a sitting position and plopping him down does just fine. The lights are quite attractive, especially the little one inside that helps Batman’s chest glow. The projectile is fun to use, and never gets old during play. Detail: This is a toy for young children, but I found there to be a nice level of detail on the Batmobile itself. From the Bat symbol hub caps, to the trimmings along the back, they did a nice job on this toy. I’ve seen some toy vehicles that looks like they just came off the most basic of plastic molds. But I gotta say, they put some attention into this thing. A big plus for me was the fabric cape. I grew up with Batman toys with fabric capes, but somewhere down the line they started using hard rubbery molds. Glad my son can make some wind-blowing action with this figure! ... show more

Imaginext's Batmobile is ready to go out of the box. No assembly is required. The Batmobile is nicely sized and constructed from robust feeling plastics. The tires have rubberized edges. The included Batman figure fits nicely into the cockpit. The Batmobile makes a variety of sounds and activates lights when the car is pushed around. There are lights in the flames, the front fenders, and the cockpit. There is a shooting Bat Missile from the front of the Batmobile. It shoots a decent distance, but there isn't a lot of force behind it so it should not break anything or hurt a person if shot at them. My 5-year-old son enjoys playing with the car and it has held up well to his abuse. All in all... nicely made and fun. ... show more

While my 6 year old is starting to get a little old for the shooting toys, she still loves when they have sound and lights so I grabbed this. I also have a niece that just turned 3 and she is obsessed with it! This Batmobile keeps them busy, playing together for a long time.

This Imaginext Batman car was suburb. It was much larger than expected which made it an awesome gift for my son. The car is well made and has taken many tumbles down steps and into things and still is very much together. The little batman character fits perfectly in the car and is ready for anything. The media could not be loaded. If there is a kiddo in your life that is a fan of Batman, this is a great toy choice that is sure to please. I really like the Imaginex brand. Both my kids love them and they are very durable, well made toys. The car is ready to out of the package. It comes with a Batman figure. My favorite part about this car: put Batman in the driver's side of the car and his abdomen and chest light up from light in the seat of the car when the car when it rolls. The front has a projectile that can be launched by the button on the hood. The fire in the back also lights up. There is also room for another Imaginex figure (or whatever can fit) in the car, which is fun. Overall, this toy was a big hit. The lights, sounds, and projectile are fun to play around with, and the durability is top knotch. Would recommend. ... show more

If you have any other imaginext figures they can go for a ride alongside Batman. The back flame lights up as it rolls. There’s a button to push for more lights and sounds. Overall I think this would be a nice gift for any Batman fan. My kids ages 1-6 are all enjoying it.
