It was an easy install, but it uses 5” round pipe, where most range hoods are 6 or 7. “ round. You will need to order 5” round alumaflex to hook this up. This was pretty easy to install. I had to dill a hole into my cabinet for the plug and put in 4 screws to hold it up. My cabinets are old and not a standard size so it didn't fit exactly right, but ended up working with some tweaking. It seems to work well as a ductless vent.. only concern is that the metal is very light weight so don't know if it will hold up over time and they built it with the protective plastic on so it's impossible to remove some of the bits stuck in screws or joints. Had bought one of these elsewhere and it didn't work once we installed it. This one worked fine. Buttons to turn on the fan are a bit rough but not rough when you turn on the light button.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this a few months back and didn’t install it until recently. It looks good and the light works, but the fan will not turn on and I’m past the return date so not quite sure what to do about it other than throw it out. I’d beware of buying.

It looks good but I still have to open a window when I cook bacon. It’s quiet and the lights are nice and bright. It was also easy to install. As a hood fan it doesn’t suck up smoke and send it out the vent, it just moves it around.
