This is my second purchase of this cover. My iPad is my daily computer. It is never far from me, and I travel quite a bit. It offers excellent protection. So much so that when I purchased my second 12.9, I didn't buy a screen protector (but I have Apple Care). After three years, the backside of the screen protector is losing its finish where it bends. It's still functional, but not pretty. The outside of the cover held up like a champ, although the corners have abrasion. I know what I've put it through. Love it, fits like a glove. Adds weight 12 oz. Light protection. This is not a rugged case. Reasonably stable for typing on a table top w virtual keyboard, but don’t expect a rock solid stand. Cover protects ipad from light scratches, all sides except exposed camera glass. May want to buy a camera glass cover separately. Pencil 2nd gen is held securely and charges at the same time. I was always worried the pencil will fall off and I will lose it one of these days while putting it in/out of bags. So that’s one worry removed. Buttons are covered w rubber, feels a bit squishy but works. Good price. Meets all of my expectations in a cover. Love the design. Very fun. Definitely lightweight, easy to manipulate/use, the back is very chic. The top cover is not very durable, though, having faded along its crease and separated at the edge after 2 months. To give an idea of my amount of use - I take notes for school on my iPad, so it travels with me to and from school and is used there as well as at home for homework, and I use it as a musical score at a mild activity rate. This cover was frequently in my passenger's seat or on a desk or in the bleachers, and frequently opened. I'm a light fidgeter and I used to lightly rub my finger against the edge of the top, and as you can see it separated pretty noticeably. The edge of the hinge faded too. These two decays in quality mostly started happening after about a month of ownership. Another thing that happened was kind of weird - whenever I'd set the device down while I was in the files app, it'd come up with the prompt "Undo action?" But only with the case on. My iPad doesn't do it otherwise. Another weird ism was sometimes the screen would be slightly unresponsive with the case on, near the edges. Doesn't do that without. Overall, pretty cool case. I didn't really expect super quality from it, I'm fairly disappointed it only lasted two months though. Also gave me some small but annoying use issues. Definitely gonna buy something higher quality this time and not vanity-centered. ... show more
