    • One chew worked for my 75lb putbull
My 1yo pitbull is a rescue and spent a good time of his puppy-hood as a stray. He has a lot of fear and anxiety from that time. While we are working with his vet and an animal behavior specialist on this, I needed something that can calm him down just enough each night. He digs, chews and barks when anxious and has house accidents. I gave him two of these chews and he got sleepy. So I tried giving him one chew at a time, and it worked like a charm. Just enough to take the edge off so he isn't destroying furniture (and good vibes), but is still his playful self. I'm amazed at how well this worked, and effect seems to last all evening. Helped to keep him calm and focused at his obedience class too. I'm so grateful to Finn for this product. Legit, this works.     • Incredibly effective without making dogs groggy- A must have!
I’m blown away by how effective this product is! And it didn’t knock my dogs out like a prescribed sedative they took one time in the past. So prior to buying this product, I had a handyman come to my home to assess some projects and provide a quote. He was at the house for less than an hour as I walked around showing him various areas of my house. My dogs were in their crates and had given them toys and treats to keep them occupied. My hound whined the entire time. My bulldog barked constantly and chewed all the stuffing out of his bed. So I bought these soft chews with hopes it would at least calm them a little when the contractor came back to do repairs. That morning I have one chew to my 60 lb hound and two chews to my 50 lb bully. For 8 hours, the contractor was either hammering, drilling, sawing, or making other loud noises and made frequent trips past their crates while carrying a big ladder. I cannot believe it but they both remained calm the whole day. No one would guess these are the same dogs! It was so much less stress on them and on me having them relaxed and comfortable during a time with a stranger walking around making lots of strange sounds. I can’t recommend this product enough.     • Work great for calming or anxious pups
Our pups love the flavor of these. I was a bit worried because to me they smelled a bit like licorice but they LOVE them. We just ordered our second tin and set up subscribe and save! Sometimes they work better than other times, it may depend on how close to meal time they have consumed them? Meaning if it is shortly after a meal it just calms them slightly whereas empty stomach knocks them out (if that makes sense). THEY definitely work! They have a greater impact on our older dog than our younger dog too but again age plays a factor in everything, doesn't it? We wouldn't be able to survive without these. So glad I found them. We recently had a friend staying with us which meant our house went from two dogs to FOUR dogs and it calmed her dogs down as well. It was definitely needed after long days of play! Highly recommend if you have active dogs who need help calming down at night, or anxious dogs due to fireworks, storms etc. We had a huge windstorm while my friend was here and it was bothering her dog and these definitely helped calm her lab down. Hands down work better than the previous supplement tried for the same thing. If you're skeptical (like I was) just try one month. Hopefully you'll be a believer like I was after the month is over! ... show more

I guess, the flavor was good, because my finicky dog gobbled it up without hesitation. She was much calmer through the day, but for a half of the day she was making sound like throwing and was sneezing a lot. She is 19 lb jagd-terrier, so I gave her a half of chew, just to be on a caution side. It gave her an allergic reaction to the point that I was about to grab her and drive to the vet. So, maybe it is a good product, but in my case it gave me and my dog not a comfort, but an additional stress. The price of the product is too high and for me it was just wasted for nothing money. ... show more

    • Smells awful 3 days later update ! Dogs behavior was agitated ,obsessiv ,mean, Inwas scared
My terrier won’t touch them . Not even hidden in other food . The smell is horrible I decided I really need to update this review . At the same time I started trying to give my pup this I gave him a new toy which included 6 little rubber squeaky toys . He became obsessed so I took all but 1 away . I had to put him in puppy jail to sleep that night because he was so out of control obsessed with this toy . He stiffened up so tense I thought he was going to bite me , I put him in and he did try made the noice but didn’t get me . Next morning let him out it’s like we have no routine none of what we do did he want anything to do with just this toy couldn’t let it out of its sight . Same thing back in for sleep cause I need a rest from him next day yesterday about 4:00 he seemed to mellow enough to come up to me with the toy he had all but chewed it apart I mean I’m shreds . He’s a little terrier . So I was able to get it away from him he was able to eat and he’s slept with me last night . He is normally a very affectionate pup and he has a huge happy personality I mean I really missed him he was not himself Today he’s very tired still has the eees rubber toy I gave him after dinner last night but it’s in one piece . He kissed me today several times but still not himself but way better . I continued to hide the clam treats in his food because of his behavior . Then he stopped eating all together so he hasn’t had any of Finn since yesterday and I now believe his behavior has nothing to do with the toy and everything to do with what is in these products . I also gave him 1 wa day of the Finn vitamin . . Please be ware and if your dog has similar response let me know and we can see what we can get done to together ! This was reallly scary for me and for Chance ! ... show more

Very effective. We give these to our dogs when there is bad weather, they won't settle, it even during cold fronts or when there's fireworks. Overall 10/10

    • Worth it for holidays with fireworks
Our 85lb lab has recently become very nervous with fireworks. We've tried blankets and playing action movies to "distract" but he can tell when its fireworks. Picked up the Finn Calming Chews with low expectations, and was pleasant surprised when he curled up and basically slept thru all the 4th of July fireworks. Definitely need to give the chews a bit before you think you need them, but they worked amazingly. ... show more
