Purchased these for an awards banquet and they were given to students. Very heavy, solid walnut. Excellent quality! The ease of sliding the certificates in, without having to hammer in brass nails, risk breaking them etc is a PLUS for me and a time-saver as a teacher. Price is high. The frame itself is really nice, and easy to use. I have not hung mine yet. However, there are some minor cosmetic issues that are noticeable. Once noticed, you can’t unsee it in my opinion. My biggest issue is towards the center or the frame the glass/plastic portion of it is not a smooth surface. It’s almost as if it was burned a tiny bit because the plastic crinkles on the inside, which is difficult to show in photos. It’s a small defect but once I saw it, all my focus goes there. Then, the right side of the wood frame had slightly chipped paint. There’s a photo of it. Unfortunately, I was disappointed in the quality. However, it’s a nice frame. If you get it free from any cosmetic defects, it’s a great frame! I do not want to return it and wait for a replacement. I will be hanging this at work as is but I would recommend inspecting your product. ... show more

Really cheaply made and packaged for the money. Mine arrived with a dented wooden corner, a broken fiberglass corner near the attachment stud, and a crack in the fiberglass. Further, when mounting it I used some very basic household tape to hold it in place while the 3M strips on the back cured, and removing the tape took off significant portions of the cheap "wood" finish. I'll need to get a wood coverup stick to fix it. I'd forgive all this at $15, but not $45. ... show more

Although double-faced tape was necessary to secure the certificate inside the plastic (definitely roomy), it met all the perameters necessary and it's beautiful.

Not worth the money spent! The rivets or bolts were assembled so tightly the plexiglass is cracked. The plastic, “plexi” is rough on the edges. If I paid $15 then one could say, “… you get what you pay for” But I feel scammed for paying $42!!
