I have to admit I am shocked at how much I like this resistance band. As a fitness instructor, I am very picky with my equipment. This is not only very functional, but also cute. The rubber is extremely durable yet flexible enough to allow for multiple resistance levels. I wanted it for travel purposes and it's perfect for that. Super lightweight and takes up very little space. I was worried it would be too hard or too light which would limit the exercises one could do. I was wrong. I was able to perform several exercises for different muscles with suitable resistance. This piece of equipment is only limited by your creativity. My only complaint is that there are no suggested exercises that come with it. While this does not matter to me as I am a fitness professional, a regular person at home may not know exactly what to do with this. There should be a few beginner exercises listed on a card that come with the product. Overall, I like this better than the old fashioned resistance tubing I've been using for years. ... show more

When this arrived and I first took it out of the bag, I thought, “Oh no, this is for a child!” It really is quite small. Like it’s made for people with really little hands! But then I gave it a try and discovered that I really like it! I don’t have to have my entire hand through the handle, I can curl a pinky around the outside of it and my thumb and pinky hold on to the little “ears”. It’s actually quite comfortable. The thickness of the handle feels good in my hand, and the silicone material is grippy and seems almost sticky to the touch which means it won’t slide out of my hands even if I’m sweating. I measured it at 21” long, but I’m able to stretch it beyond 4 feet long! This is a great tool for all kinds of arm exercises, and I can even stick part of my foot in it to pull my leg up and stretch my hamstrings. It’s different from all the other exercise bands I have and there’s something that’s just so fun, almost irresistibly cute about it, that I look forward to using it every day! ... show more

I just received my nice new lavender stretch band today. It feels great to stretch my arms out in front and in back of me. Item is very well made and arrives in a small ziploc plastic pouch. There is a very slight chemical smell that I hope goes away with time. The hand holds on each side of the hand are a little small for me. I wish they were just 1/2 inch taller to fit all 4 of my fingers inside the grip more comfortably. I’m 5’6" and approx 153lbs just as some sort of reference. Lastly, I wish the entire band was about 3 inches shorter to allow for more stretching and resistance during my stretching routines. This is a great, well made item that will last for years. All photos are of the same band although the colors appear different due to lighting changes. I've been able to use this band in place of the resistance bands used in physical therapy for the days I don't go to a session. It's strong enough to use for legs, arms, curls, and everything the yoga strap and vinyl strips do. It has such a small footprint I've packed in for overnight trips in a purse and can keep up some of the fitness program I'm on at the moment. It has a lot of give but at the same time it offers strong resistance by using the band itself instead of the handgrips for a more strenous workout. The Figure 8 Resistance Band is 21 inches long and the band itself is 1 1/4 inches wide. The silicone material is a lot thicker than the regular resistance bands. When I compare this band to my set of regular resistance bands, it seems to fall somewhere between the light and medium band. On the website it shows 3 different bands, 15 lbs, 25 lbs and 35 lbs. The one I received is not marked in anyway but I would guess it is the 15 lb band. It is very stretchy and I love the handles. The handles are so much better and more comfortable than tying a knot in the end of the regular bands. I am currently in Physical Therapy to rehab my knee and I will get a lot of use out of this band. I really like it and I think you will too. ... show more

This has come in handy for just sitting at my desk and doing some resistance exercises. I put one loop under my foot and just do lateral raises with my arm (I have some mobility issues in my shoulder, and this helps as a rehab exercise); I'll also do some curls while in this position. Pull-aparts are good with this as well for working the upper back (and shoulders again). The quality and durability seem good, but I've only been using it for a few days now. I don't anticipate there being any issues as this is thicker and seems more durable than those little flimsy bands that you get a dime a dozen. ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised by this little resistance band. It's smaller than I expected, but don't let its size fool you. The material feels great in your hands, and it stretches incredibly well while snapping back into shape immediately. The small horns on the handles are a clever design that provides extra grip. This has good resistance for me as I'm tall and have long arms. For someone with shorter arms or may require a closer hand grip v using the handles to feel the resistance. I like that it's portable because exercises can be done while watching TV, traveling, etc. I ordered it to practice exercises that support upper back strength to improve my posture. I work in front of a computer and notice the tendency to slouch forward when I'm focused. I don't want your back rounded so I've been training the muscles in this area.
