This is a great leash and really sturdy. My dog chewed up our other leash and it doesn't seem like he will get through this one has it is thick. I like the weight of the leash when I am walking also. It feels like it gives me more control of my dog. The color is also cute.

I purchased three of these leashes for my dogs who pull extremely hard when walking. I found that the leash completely stopped two of my dogs from pulling and for the first time in 6 years it’s been a delight to take them on neighborhood stroll. On the other hand, our other dog just chokes himself to death and doesn’t care at all how tight it gets. So, a win win loss over here! The quality of the product is good, sturdy and comes in nice colors. The only gripe I have with the function is that the little leather stopper gets my dogs fur wrapped in it almost every time we use it and we have to unwind the hair from it before we can take it off. ... show more

I ordered this leash for my rottweiler puppy thinking it looked thin (in the product photo), and may not be strong enough to last as he gets much larger and stronger. The price is good, so I figured even if I only used it at home for training and it held up for a few months it would be worth purchasing. When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is much sturdier than originally anticipated! There is no way that the 'rope' will snap even once the puppy is fully grown. The metal ring also appears to be well made and looks like it will be able to hold up. The color is even prettier and more vibrant as well. I am impressed with the quality of this product. I was worried about using this type of leash on my dog. He’s my baby and my whole life. I didn’t want him to be choking or uncomfortable- but he pulls and I needed to try something new. This leash was a GAME CHANGER! He’s a whole new walking boy. It doesn’t choke him and he walks really well on this leash. I was ok with taking the risk on this leash because it was so cheap and it worked out. It’s also very sturdy and incredibly easy to use. I ordered 3/8” leads for my Rat Terriers, and they work well. The material is tougher and easier to keep clean than my old, braided cotton slip leads. They tighten up and loosen faster than cotton. They don’t fold and wad up as small as a braided cotton leash, but they fit in my coat pocket (one will fit in my coat pocket, not both). I like them! ... show more
