My vet hear heart issues.. Told me I need to see a cardiologist for my tiny toy poodle. In the mean time I order this gave it for 8 weeks back to veterinary. She listen to his heart again. She couldn't find a heart issues..left side of his heart sounded perfect. She want to know what I used.. I will continue to give this supplement..but I wish it wasn't in capsule. A loose powder would have work better ..as capsule are too Big for toy poodle .. ... show more

My cat with a heart murmur has quite the nose on him! I had to do 1/4 of the pill and slowly work up to a full capsule to fully get him to eat all the food with the capsule medicine inside.

My nearly 12 year old dog was diagnosed with a stage 2 heart murmur and elevated NTproBNP. I instantly started him on hawthorn berry and coq10. I was unable to find a taurine supplement that he could tolerate. My nearly 11 year old dog hasn’t been diagnosed with any heart conditions but I could see he was slowing down. He lagged behind on walks, didn’t want to wake up in the mornings and couldn’t jump onto the bed anymore. I found this product and bought it. It’s been almost two weeks and although I haven’t had my dog re-evaluated, I can see the difference. Both of my dogs are energetic and happy. Not to mention, this one supplement has a higher dosage of coq10 than what I was previously giving them. I no longer have to buy supplements individually, which makes it easier to administer. They eat just fine with it sprinkled onto their food. I will definitely be purchasing again! Update: my 12 year old with a heart murmur had an echocardiogram done. He has NO major heart issues! I definitely believe this supplement helped him and have repurchased it three times! ... show more

A few weeks after starting these, my dog began having frequent, high volume pees. He had 3 accidents in the house within a week, and that’s when I took him to the vet. After a very expensive work up that only showed his urine was too diluted, I did a little research and found out that a few of the ingredients in this supplement are diuretics— Hawthorn berry and taurine in particular. I took him off the supplements and a week later he was back to normal. I can’t speak on how well they protect his heart, but after speaking with my vet, she told me the best things to protect a pup’s cardiovascular system is a good diet and keeping a healthy weight. ... show more
