If you want to play some Johnny Guitar Watson, Albert Collins, or Jimmie Lee Vaughan style blues and you want a capo that's quick to change and fits nicely...this is the one. I have a strat with a compound radius and it works great all up the neck. Also have a prs which it also works on. Only thing I wish is that they had a few more color options to choose from. But the Olympic white looks just fine with my burgundy mist. ... show more

I wanted a capo for my new Squire Strat with 9.5” fingerboard radius. As far as I know, Kyser is the only Capo maker that has that radius. I have several other Kyser capos. They are always great.

This is a pretty standard, durable capo. It applies a good amount of pressure, but definitely not enough to harm the instrument. My only complaint, which is mild, is that it leans on the pricier side, but if you choose this one, it oughta last you about as long as you need it (or until you lose it). A pretty good one, overall!
