This is a really nice set of harps for the price. A few of the lowest notes take a bit more air to sound than I prefer but this set cost less than some single harps at the pro level. The case is a great addition to this set. All the harps snug into fitted spaces and its nicely padded inside. This set fits easily into the front pocket of my gig bags, so carrying them is convenient. The zipper works smoothly. For starting out or having a backup set, you can't beat Fender quality. I love, love, love this set. These harmonicas and their cute little case are exactly what I needed to start playing along to iconic harmonica solos. That I am able to fudge along to "Alexa, play 'Love Me Do' by the Beatles" is directly related to having a choice of seven keyed harmonicas. This set is perfect for beginners wanting to try out harmonica and needing more than a C harp. The case keeps the 7 harps neatly stored. This set makes an excellent gift for a non-professional musician who wants to try playing to a number of songs in different keys. I cant say these harmonicas are top of the line. And I don't make my living as a harmonica player. I'm just learning to play. The sound is good enough for me-- when I hit the right notes. Great sounding blues harps. I just have one heck of a time figuring out which one plays the harmony key to songs I like. Hard to acquire key of song to calculate the third.

Update 7/23 I really like these I've used them a lot. they're on pitch, have relatively easy reeds, and sound good on the recordings I've used them for I expect them to get better as I break them in even more [original review: A quick test and these sound and feel okay to me. I wanted more keys so this seemed like a good choice. So far it seems to be ok . I played my old until it went out of tune, so right now these seem almost a little stiff, but ready to be broken in] ... show more
