I used treated 4x4's and 2x4's purchased from Lowes. The wood was a little snug and took some pressure to seat them into the hangers. Hardware was not included, I bought some premium black screws at Lowes and they worked great with the install, I cannot remember the screw size. All in all I was very happy with how it turned out and how strong they are. If you are using this in an application like mine, I would recommend installing these prior to putting the posts up if possible. We did just that and it went a lot smoother. ... show more

Used this off purpose. Got idea from another reviewer. Used 2 brackets to hang outdoor curtains from our pergola to block. Used chain link fence top rail as curtain rod. Only wish they were available in smaller quantities.

Used product for replacing wooden deck rails. Seem sturdy. Easier than trying to toenail rails to posts and hopefully will protect ends of rails. Used a small bungee cord to hold in place on post while driving screws. Give s a neat and finished look to rails.
