  • Easy Upgrade to Your Desktop Wi-Fi For AX Speeds
Style: AX3000
Attractive and solid design and pretty easy to install. The one issue I had was that I was unable to remove the plug feeding power for the bluetooth function. I needed to do this as I wanted to use the power cable that was already there in the PC feeding my old AC PCIE wifi card. All of the other USB power ports on my motherboard were being used, so I really needed to be able to plug into the new card. I tried using an internal USB header which had several USB ports, but for some reason it wouldn't power the card. I finally realized that the existing power plug was actually taking up one of my USB ports, so I simply unplugged it and used the cable attached to the new card and it all worked great. No issues with the drivers on the small CD that came with the card. The only other thing to be aware of is that the provided antennas are very small (they looked larger in the picture) and since they are mounted on the back of the computer, they are in a poor location for reception. I had some larger replacement antennas which helped me get up to 500 mbps download speeds, but I went ahead and ordered a dual antenna extension with a 10 foot cord from Amazon that has a magnetic base so I can mount to the front of my PC or even set up high on a shelf above my computer desk. Overall, I am pleased with this card and the increase in speed for the money I spent and the relatively easy installation. ... show more

  • Works flawlessly on my Linux Desktop
Style: AX3000
I bought this for a computer I built. I installed it in the correct PCI slot and booted into Linux Mint 21. My home wifi networks were visible. I did not have to install or download anything. I just performed a speedtest and got 63.3mbps download and 10.2 mbps upload on a somewhat weak signal (My desktop is located a pretty good distance from my wifi access point). I would highly recommend as this is a good value and easy to install. ... show more

  • WiFi good, BT questionable at best
Style: AX3000
WiFi works great, no problems and stronger signal than previous solution. The Bluetooth connection quality is atrocious, though. I can be sitting within 6 feet of my PC, with unconstructed line of sight to the PCI adapter itself, and still get audio drop outs. I've had it disconnect while not much farther away. Don't buy it for that functionality. ... show more

  • Works great on Linux
Style: AX3000
Installs easily. Linux Gnome Bluetooth & Blueberry help. This unit has a large heat sink, so should run well without interruption. Some other cards run for a while, then the signal breaks off. The computer has to be shut off or restarted. Very Frustrating. This card- so far, so good. Signal reception and Bluetooth are both good. The computer speed is very good. ... show more

  • Does what its Supposed to for an Ubuntu PC
Style: AX3000
Could not get my ethernet to work consistently with an ubuntu install, kept disconnecting after a few minutes. All I had to do was get another wifi card, now I can actually use it. Speeds are within range of my ethernet.
