I specifically bought the “lightweight” version of this as I wanted something for summer. We ditched our quilt and top sheet on our king to try the “scandi sleep” method using two duvets. It’s been awesome and regret not trying it sooner. No more tugging at the blankets all night waking each other up. Now for the comforter, I had concerns when I first pulled it out, it comes in a very small box rolled up tight but when you shake it out and give it time to fluff up, it’s just right. I wanted a simple grey down comforter as I was trying to simplify things as much as possible and was tired of washing both the white down comforter and it’s duvet prior to this and putting my grey duvet over my white down comforter after they were washed. I have a large capacity washer, so I am able to fit this in my washing mashing to wash it. I use special detergent for down items, but due to the price, I think it would be fine with normal detergent. It does take several cycles to dry and I usually end up leaving it spread out on my bed for several hours to get it completely dry and because getting everything bone dry in the dryer could be damaging. Some reviewers are correct about washing it and how much better it becomes. I washed it after the first night as it was a bit scratchy and lumpy and BAM! It became a beautiful blanket that you would have no idea is on the cheaper end for a down one. If I ever decide to switch up the color of my bedding, I will definitely see if there is another one just like this but in a different color:) ... show more

I was really excited to splurge on this $80 comforter and get a quality bedspread...eighty dollars y’all. I was disappointed as soon as I opened the box. The image is not a very good depiction of the color. This is a VERY dark grey and almost has a brown hue to it, not at all what I was expecting based on the photo. Also, I understand down comforters can make some noise but this thing will crunch and crinkle so much it’ll drive you nuts in bed. Lastly, it says on the label 100% cotton but this has got to be the cheapest most synthetic cotton they could find because it is sooooo crispy and scratchy in texture, not smooth or soft by any means. Needless to say I’m definitely returning this item for a refund. ... show more

I ordered the California king for our king bed as we like to tuck and pull the covers. I got this because our current comforter was perfect for summer but wanted something more thick and sturdy. When I received the package I was underwhelmed with how big it was (yes I know it was vacuum sealed...but my hopes weren't that high. I carried it into the bedroom. And it lived on my floor. Cut to a week or so later when my husband and I were having a little spat and he fell asleep grumpy and when I crawled into bed I pulled the comforter over me but it must have been folded and uncovered his feet so he snatched it off of my completely. He was half asleep.. so I can say that now but in the moment I was fuming. Stood up ripped open the sealed king heavy weight down comforter and not to quietly yanked it out and fluffed shook it. I crawled. Ask into bed with my very own comforter and it was amazing. Way better quality than I thought by reading the other reviews. I was so warm, the weight is nice. And as other negative reviews have stated, it has a crinkly noise to it. I love that about this product as it reminds me of a crinkly thick hotel comforter. It is exactly what I have been looking for. I dont understand how some of these reviews show this blanket as thin, either they didn't give it the time to fluff up or they got the light or medium weight version. My husband now has abandoned the old comforter and we both fight over this one! We love it! ... show more

This is a king size on a king tempur-pedic bed. A Cal King would have fallen lower on the frame but frankly I’m not bothered by it. Plus, I sleep with a leg out often and the robot vacuum passes underneath easily. This is southwest Florida and it’s still hot in October. The all season works, not too hot when your in the buff. The edges are very well sewn. Not one feather has escaped! And the color is great. It’s unbrushed cotton so not super soft but the solid construction is more important. Steam the wrinkles out with an iron if you have a few minutes, it’s worth it. I can recommend this comforter mostly because it will last forever and you CANNOT beat the price. ... show more

Definitely not all fluffy and soft but it looks great on the bed. The feathers do not poke through which is a huge bonus. If you’re looking for a super thick fluffy soft down comforter this is not it. If you want a well made feather comforter that’s warm, durable doesn’t need a duvet, this is it. I sleep a lot better At night with the weight of the all seasons blanket. I love heavy cold blankets. I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews and this one did it for me. It was obviously really flat when it arrived. We shook it out and left it for hours and it was still a little flat when we went to bed so we stuff in the dryer and let it go for a while and it really puffed up afterwards & some more over a couple days. I absolutely recommend this blanket if you like a weighted feeling. We got the gray, heavy weight down comforter. A lot of reviews say that it’s loud, it’s not to us.
