I want to start by saying, I did alot of research before buying this. I went on vacation a few months ago and had amazing sleep using a down comforter. I haven't had a good night sleep since then... Until now! This is fluffy and puffy. It is very soft. I was hot the first night using a sheet, small blanket and this comforter. 2nd night just the sheet and comforter and it was better. I'm used to piling 5 blankets on myself. So this was weird to have such lightweight on me, but it was so warm. My husband was hot the first few nights, but last night we opened up the window and he was better. He said that he is getting used to it now and is really starting to like it. As a reference, we keep our thermostat around 60 at night. We might bump it down a little bit more. I have to say we also have a memory foam mattress that holds heat.. So that could be the reason we are feeling a little warmer than some. I'm sure adjusting the thermostat will help. It's soft and light, but hugs your body and makes you feel so luxurious, while keeping you warm and snuggly. I absolutely love it. This is made very well. Cotton shell is great quality. We will probably buy the light weight one for summer. I just cannot see us using this in the summer, unless we get a new bed with more airflow. I think if you are able to adjust your house temperature, you can't go wrong with the all season. I had a few questions and emailed the company, Globon. I shopped a lot and looked upwards of $800 for various down comforters. Did loads of research and finally decided to buy this and it's great. Will it at least 10 or 20 years? Not sure. But for the price it is comfortable, warm and fluffy and we are happy with it.

After an unfortunate incident of my dog chewing my comforter, I decided to reorder the EXACT same comforter from the same company, except in the all season warmth. It still clearly states in the description that it is guaranteed minimum 75% goose down. Honestly, I loved my last comforter from them, but found the winter weight a bit too warm for my husband and I at times. I felt very confident about my purchase, having made a previous purchase of the same item. But when I received my new comforter it felt different, both the outer fabric AND the interior. I thought perhaps it was just crunchier than I remembered when new and the lighter weight was what had it feeling so different. WRONG. After further inspection, I saw that what I was sent is not goose down at all. It states on the tag it's DUCK DOWN, which is well known to be an inferior product, both because the down clusters are smaller and have significantly less loft, but also because it produces an unpleasant odor which I absolutely noticed right away. I also noticed the globon tag isn't a satin fabric like my last comforter, causing me to question if it's entirely a knockoff, but the bag it comes packed in is definitely legit. I'm so disappointed in this company and my purchase, I doubt I'll order from them again. Which is truly a shame because I had previously thought of and spoken so highly of their product. ... show more
