I love these lights on my porch. I decided to hang them around the porch perimeter and along the backside of my house because they are weather proof. Sure enough, they've done great after being assaulted by my sprinklers. The lights provide plenty of ambience and vibes with the color changing features. You can get really granular with your color shades to get the perfect tone for your occassion. I can see these being a wonderful addition at themed parties and during the holidays. They'll be used year round since the mounting hardware provided makes it so they won't budge unless you want them to. Very good brightness though you probably won't even want them at max. Love these lights! We first put them up under the eaves but the lights didn’t show as bright as we wanted. So we moved the lights directly under the gutters and love the brightness of the lights much better. The app on my phone is great as I can change colors and schedule the on and off times. I’ve had a lot of outdoor lights including govee which gave me some trouble. These seem comparable though and I liked the design. They are relatively simple to install I like that it has app control for setting different scenes and having fun with colors on the holidays. Seems like a nice light set
