So convenient, I bought two and we use them to go kayaking just to have something lightweight for emergencies. We haven’t had to use them in water yet but we tested them and they seem to hold air very well. They are very light and don’t take up any room at all. I wouldn’t suggest using them for a regular lifejacket but for having on a kayak or using for snorkeling they’re great ... show more

Got this and one other one but the other one felt as though it gave more support. I was going snorkeling off the coast of Aruba in choppy water and needed ALOT of support since i don’t know how to swim! This one just felt flimsy. BUT i did not try it in water so maybe it would of been fine!

Not sure if it will save a life because we have not had this emergency situation. We hope to never have to use in an emergency situation. Only purchased because it's required to have a vest on the paddle boards and this is really small. Looks like it would work just fine.
