Bought this to protect a 2024 Tesla model Y which will not always be in the garage. It fits well, the charging flap works well as does the opening for the doors. I like the mesh in the front to allow air flow to the heat exchanger. Our first electric car and am still learning the different needs of full electric cars. The fit is such that the straps are probably only needed for high winds. The silver color is both cool for a Tesla and works to reflect sunlight, so double cool. But don’t even think about packing it back in the storage bag without lots of effort. I just use a storage crate and not sweat it. This cover checks all the right boxes for me regarding zipper access to driver door, Velcro opening to charge port, vent on front bumper for cooling and fit for rear mirrors. It does a pretty good job keeping the car cool on hot days. The only weakness was the fit over the rear bumper. Without being able to fit the elastic under the bumper, it requires tie downs through the wheels to secure it during windy days. ... show more

This is my 3rd car cover for my 2023 Model Y and so far this is hands down the best one and my new favorite cover in terms of quality , materials and protection . What I like most of this car cover is its exceptional heat rejection qualities as I park my car in my driveway which is facing south .. which means the car gets the full brunt of the Southern California sun all day log and gets nice and toasty inside . The first cover I had was a Tesmanian Cover which was black in color and I thought that was excellent quality with thick materials and soft inner lining . However because it was black in color it still caused the car to get quite hot . And Because we can check the car's internal temperature in the Telsa App , I decided do a quick test to see the temperature difference between no cover , my previous favorite Tesmaninan cover and this Favoto cover TEST CASE - 2023 Tesla Model Y - Ceramic IR tint on all windows , front and rear windshield - Ambient Daytime Temps : 80F - Measured at 1 PM in the afternoon during the hottest part of the day CAR INTERIOR TEMPERATURE RESULTS Without any cover : 118F - 120 F With Tesmanian Cover : 105F (15F or a 12.5% improvement over no cover) With Favoto Cover : 83F (35F or a 31% improvement! ) As you can see that the results with the Favoto cover are nothing short of amazing , i.e the car it rejects most of the heat from getting inside the car and the car stays practically at the ambient temperature. This results in actual $$ savings as we dont have to precondition and run the AC in the car for a longer time before each drive and we get more range out of our car! LIKES - Due to its very reflective outer skin , it has exceptional heat rejection qualities . In fact its so reflective that you cant stare at the cover for a long period during the day without hurting your eyes :) - Good balance of thickness and lightweight .. its thick enough so that it does not feel like it will rip apart when pulled hard and does not fly in the wind with the slightest breeze while putting on ..and yet its lightweight enough to easily be put on and off by one person and fut within the subtrunk of the Model Y - Large mirror cutouts , i.e you dont have to wait for the mirrors to fold to put on the cover . It fits fine even with the side mirrors open - Soft cotton lined interior means it will not scratch your car too much while dragging it over your car's paint - The driver side opening is large and right in the center of the car , allowing you to access both the front and rear driver passenger side doors equally - Built in vent mesh that we can precondition / cool the car without having to take the cover off DISLIKES - The only minor dislike I can think of of this cover is that it seems to be not as tight fitting or 'figure hugging' like my previous Tesmanian cover ... it fits over the the car loosely (see pics ) with extra space in the corners . - I personally think that the loose fit actually helps in its heat rejection because the cover does not stick directly over the windows/ corners and creates an air gap that further reduces its heat transfer to the car - Hence I am not taking away any points away from this but just wanted to point out that it has a more loose fit than some of the other covers FINAL THOUGHTS Overall this is an excellent car cover that will actually save us battery and money over time with its exceptional heat rejection , excellent build quality materials and soft lined interior . This is a REALLY nice cover that my son-in-law and daughter use on their Tesla. Over their driveway stands a VERY large, old tree that likes to drop branches and leaves all throughout the year. There are many birds that like to live in that tree as well. And we all know what roosting birds overhead are capable of doing! I got this cover for them so that they could keep the finish on their Tesla looking good. The cover fits nicely and is made of a material that is waterproof. It does a great job protecting the car from just about anything that falls from the tree. It’s great that it was designed in order to accommodate being able to plug it in even with the cover on. AND having the front end made of a mesh material in order to allow the battery not to overheat is a great design feature. All in all, this is a well thought out and designed car cover! ... show more

This is a very nice cover, soft and padded, opening in front for so that battery management cooling can happen without choking out the system. Some covers do NOT have this feature which can lead to problems. Nice!

I like the fact that this one has a mesh front to allow the car airflow to cool. It also has straps built in to the cover vs another more expensive option that had the straps packed in a bag and made you install them yourself.
