I’m pleasantly surprised with the quality of this manufactured wood book shelf. It came well packed, undamaged, and all the pieces and parts were included and well labeled. I can’t say enough how easy it was to assemble. Everything was clearly labeled, the holes in the right place and the threads actually lined up correctly. The instructions were correct and easy to follow. It took about 25 minutes but we were not in a hurry so maybe even less than that for most folks. It looks great and very sturdy. The veneer finish is on both sides of each piece so it has a higher end look for manufactured wood. I highly recommend this product and will definitely be buying from this seller again. ... show more

This is a very nice little piece for the money, but what really impressed me was the customer service. They sent me an email before it arrived with some tips to help with assembly, which perhaps wasn't necessary because these were the most detailed instructions I have seen EVER. Also very helpful that there was extra hardware, as I was assembling this myself and broke two wooden dowels but because extra parts were included -- no problem. I was hoping for a nice looking, quality piece that would support our bedroom TV and have space for books and other things. Also, very important to me, was the ease in putting it together. I was really happily impressed with everything!! It looks great and my husband and I put it together in less than an hour... could be done in 30 minutes or less if familiar with assembling things and didn't have a pet jumping in and out of it! The instructions are extremely easy to follow. Main thing is to read everything before each step and do exactly what they ask. It was the best set of directions I've ever had to follow, and I've put a lot of items together, some very complicated. The packaging was great and easy to identify, plus there aren't really a lot of pieces to assemble. The quality is very good. I do have it on carpet vs hard flooring which may make it a bit less stable as the TV on top is probably larger than intended, but don't think there will be an issue. If so, it would not be the manufacturer's fault. It also has items on the bottom of unit to stabilize it in case of uneven flooring. It is exactly what is advertised, and I couldn't be more relieved and happier to have it!! Highly Recommend if you like the description of product as stated on Amazon website!!
