What a good idea I thought when I saw the rock'n'roll chair. Having already the Fatboy hammock and other objects from this company, I did not hesitate, but after a while, I realized it did not really rock so I send it back. Not only it is not rocking enough, but it takes a lot of space, even if you have plenty. Yes, it is as easy to assemble as the hammock and it is made of the same materials (black finish metallic frame with 8 polyester webbings). Maybe because it is made in Chinasome parts sometimes bug and you need to make a lot of efforts to have them perfectly aligned. No, you are not going to bring it with you anywhere you want despite whet they would like you to believe, just because it is not practical to carry, to assemble, it is heavy for a girl like me, and there is no carrying bag which would have been a minimum at such an expensive price. Despite the concept is good, the material that seem sturdy, it is really too expensive, like the Fatboy brand in general. You have to think that you need to have the bean bag if you want to complete your rock n roll chair. Mine is 10 year old, pretty used, but refilled regularly. Then again, the idea is fantastic, but once again, something is wrong. It not comfortable after a while because of the bean. And it does not rock enough according to me. I wish that, like in their ad, I could pick up my bean and chair to go and play in the street. Forget it. I would not leave it outdoor if it rained. My Fatboy hammock frame was also able to stay outdoor... not so convinced anymore. At such an expensive price, I was sold a dream. After just a few days, this rock n roll chair structure ended in the guest room where it took a lot of space and was not really rock n roll... Nobody wanted it or wanted to sit on it. I purchased this item “used” but I swear it was new, must have been one someone ordered and returned, absolute perfect condition for $100. I purchased this for my PillowSac by LoveSac because could not find a Lovesac rocker. I definitely prefer this Fatboy rocker over the Lovesac rocker. This rocker is very sturdy, the straps are extremely high quality and easily support someone of a heavier build and weight. I have read comments were some claimed it doesn’t rock, that’s definitely NOT TRUE! It comes with 2 FatBoy (well mine did) thick rubber wedge rock blockers (says it right on them) that fit snuggly under each side of the rocker base to “prevent” it from rocking, if you prefer rocking just take them off, simple as that. ... show more

I purchased 2 of them. I think they make Fatboys more usable as lounge chairs, but beware somehow the chairs seem to take up more space in the room. The room I have them in is very large so it's not a problem. They are however, overpriced, but so are Fatboys in general

This chair is the key to my eternal happiness, I have a JAXX pillow i purchase 3 yrs ago, so i put the fat boy rocker together in matter of 3 minutes, laid my JAXXX pillow i was in business, slept like a baby.

Bought this used. Said to be very good condition but came damaged. Not a huge deal since it was a steal. Used it with my 5.5FT 30pd jaxx bean bag and it works pretty well. My 85pd choco lab and I were able to sit on it comfortably until he booted me off to call his. Will be keeping it
