I did Alot of looking around before choosing this bike, and I am so glad I chose this one! It is beautiful for one but it is also built extremely well. I easily finished the assembly out of the box with no issues, the user manual was easy to follow and the settings are easy to adjust and customize it to you. I can easily get 30 miles to a single charge even with using the throttle for most of it and a mix of stop and go and different terrains. I use this bike to commute back and forth to work 5 miles both ways to Drs appointments everything! It's very easy to ride and really fun as well! I 10/10 recommend this bike, my only minor complaint is that you have to take the seat stem out completely to remove the battery. A mild nuisance, it would be better to have the seat that flips up for battery removal but that's an easy upgrade I plan to do soon! ... show more

The bike comes 90% assembled which is great for the mechanically uninclined. The headlight and brake light is a MUST and I'm glad it comes with the bike. I'm 230 lbs and average around 26mph but occasionally hit 28 on a long straightaway. I recommend lowering the PSI in both tires about 10 PSI unless you have perfectly paves roads as bumps at 26mph are rough but that's to be expected. Battery needs charging after about 20 miles but I use mostly electric with very little pedaling (I'm lazy). Overall I would buy again one hundred percent. ... show more

I'm a 57 y/o man, 5'9" & 250lbs. Very out of shape and don't much care for exercising but I have always enjoyed bicycling and being outdoors. Riding my regular bike takes a lot out of me so I don't enjoy it as much or for very long rides. This ebike changes everything! As other reviews have stated, it was packaged very well, however ther was a broken bracket on the bottom of the frame when I unboxed it (see pic). I think this bracket was to protect the bikes wiring on the bottom when folded. It doesn't affect the functionality or structural integrity of the bike so I decided to just accept it as is. Getting it unboxed and cutting all of the packaging materials off took some time (lots of plastic wire ties... be careful not to cut any of the bikes wires!), but assembly was pretty quick and easy. I'm a truck driver and bought this folding bike thinking that I could throw it up in the passenger seat and take it with me, but even folded up, it's still pretty bulky and heavy, so not sure yet how easy it will be to take with me. This is the 1st ebike that I've ever owned so don't have anything to compare it to but so far I love it! Battery arrived fully charged so once I got everything adjusted and tightened down, I put about 7 miles on it just peddling around my neighborhood and getting used to it. Keeping original factory settings, I was able to get over 20mph on throttle only. The shifter is smooth and I tended to keep it in 7th gear and PAS3 which made for a brisk pace for peddling and maintained around 14mph. I wish it had options for a larger front sprocket because in PAS4 & 5 you've got to be peddling like a fool to keep up with it! My first real ride, I did about 18 miles on some pretty easy country roads (gravel & paved) with minor grades. I mostly kept it in PAS3, bumping it to 4 or 5 or using throttle only to boost me up some hills. I averaged around 14mph and at the end of the ride, I felt like I had gotten a decent workout without killing myself. It is very comfortable and I love the range of adjustments that can be made to the handlebars & seat. I only lost 1 bar on the battery meter so I expect pretty good range. So far, I am very pleased with this purchase and look forward to many miles. ... show more

Solid build, decent motor and battery. Costs are cut on the accessories it seems and the tightening mechanism for the seat is not good by any means and stripped fairly quickly but for the price the important mechanical features are nice. Easy to assemble without using the included instructions, fun to ride. Great for my size, 5 ft 10in, 185 lb. Reached 27 mph with throttle adjusted to 100% power which the instructions will tell you how to do. Overall I am pleased with my purchase and it slightly exceeded my expectations build- wise. Just minor annoyances with the not so important parts, but those things could easily be common even on more expensive bikes. Just ordered a second for my wife. ... show more

As the title suggests I am a large human that occasionally gets mistaken for a shaved bear. A little over 300lbs and 6’5”. I bought this bike because of the excellent reviews on the customer service. The unboxing wasn’t bad and quite easy to put together. The battery was about half charged and I put that on the charger in the same area I put the bike together in. Please for safety keep this in the same room you are in, just in case it decides to have issues. The manual was well written and had decent pictures to help. After the battery Was charged (thankfully with zero issues) I plugged it in and took a 4 mile drive with factory settings. I expected to get about 65-70% of the speeds that a normal sized human could get, and likely nowhere near the top speeds, I was pleasantly surprised to find myself going 23 on flat ground with good acceleration! I have put 14 miles on it in the last 24 hours and battery is sitting about 60%. No hills and a combination of pedal assist and throttle. I did unlock the bike to full potential today and got it to 29mph on flat ground! Took it to my local bike shop (and wow the bike turned some heads!) and added some sealant to the tubes for those inevitable goat heads, and now I have an impressive e-bike that moves a bear sized human around nicely! You will need to make some adjustments to brakes and shifter due to rough riding in a delivery truck but the manual helps a lot with those adjustments. After reading a lot of e-bike reviews I always read about how hard they are to pedal due to the weight. I understand how a tiny person could have issues moving a 60 some pound bike around I found it no different than pedaling my marlin 7. But again my legs are very used to moving a lot of weight around. Everything works so far and I haven’t had any issues in the first 24.
