This was quick and easy to assemble for over the door. I liked that it had all the tools included and additional hardware for wall mounting. It is thin with foam padding around the edges so it doesn’t damage the door. Because it is so thin, I didn’t over tighten the bolts in fear of it cracking. They don’t provide everything you need for the mounting process. They want you to cut out your own thick wooden block piece just to mount the item to the wall. If you choose to put it on the door, it bangs the door and marks up the door every time you shoot the ball. Bad design and bad business by not providing the block piece. ... show more

Bought this entirely to hang on wall NOT over door but you have to cut wood and affix the wood to the back of the hoop and that to the wall which is way beyond my skill set to make this work. That was NOT described in the instructions and by the time I gifted for my sons bday (I bought early) it was too late to return. Super disappointed as over the doors do not work in our older house. They should stipulate that due to design wood cutting is needed. ... show more
