It took my boyfriend 7 hours to assemble it. It was very sturdy and very farmhouse appearance. He said it was a solid foundation. He said better than the 3000 one he had bought before at the furniture store. Not noisy at all. The alignment and height are what is in the description.

It took my husband and I approximately 2.5 hours to put it together and we made two errors. It’s heavy so definitely would be easier with two person to assemble. In the sunlight, the frame looks gray but without sunlight, it looks black. Fits our king size mattress perfectly!
